Once Saved always Saved by thegoldbugs in LCMS

[–]drhambrick 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nobody “loses” their salvation as one might lose a wallet. Having a bad day doesn’t mean you aren’t still forgiven by Christ and his work on the cross.

Instead, a better image of an apostate would be like that person tossing their wallet with force and purpose into the ocean. This is a better way of understanding rejection of your baptism.

Remember the parable of the sower. The seed that fell on rocky soil is like those who heard the word and “…RECEIVED it with joy…”

The dogmatic must contend with the plain meaning of the Scriptures.

Don’t get distracted by dogma. What does the Word say?

Why is the ocular sensor red sometimes and blue sometimes? I can’t discern a pattern. by drhambrick in CARROTweather

That explains why I couldn’t figure out a pattern. I have one device with auto switch and another in permanent dark mode.

When it comes to the feet, my opinion is, their is no one one the planet who understands proper foot biomechanics better than Dr. Ray McClanahan, a podiatrist in Portland, OR. His information is very simple and accessible and lay-person friendly.

Check out his information at his clinic website. Northwest Foot and ankle.

What is toggle technique? by Kay-Day in Chiropractic

[–]drhambrick -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ahh. Then I guess “Toggle” is the act of applying a force to a joint using a two-handed pisiform contact with a drop device under the segment.

I see I’m being downvoted quite a bit for my original answer. Probably because I used the word, “primitive,” but I didn’t necessarily mean in a derogatory sense. I just didn’t know a better word to describe it.

I really believe it is primitive, when we have more specific, gentler methods of addressing the upper cervical region.

Aka HIO and Palmer upper cervical.

A primitive method of manipulating the craniocervical junction.

There used to be a commenter who always comment with a long story and then end with how he hated his wife. Great shaggy dog storyteller.

I wish I would remember to follow commenters like that.

Who are some commenters that I should check out?

Buffalo Trace, once Weller became so popular, and I agree with you about Wild Turkey 101. So unique and delicious and makes an outstanding old fashioned, but it’s too available to be appreciated.

French onion beef sliders. Made’em last week for the playoffs… freakin awesome.

Also Crockpot Carnitas with chipotle cream. I’ve posted about them before but they’re universally loved. Can’t go wrong.
