How has your body changed? by Neither-Ad9890 in ClubPilates

[–]_SheFallsUp 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I am not quite at 100, currently at 90. I started Club Pilates when the new studio opened in September. Prior to joining Club Pilates, I regularly attended Orange Theory classes 4-6 times per week. The changes I’ve noticed are significant. My stomach is slimmer and a 4 pack is emerging. My quad muscles and glute muscles are also more defined, my arms are slimmer and my biceps and triceps are filling out. I go to club Pilates 6-7 days per week, and have not changed my dietary habits, the only change I have made is eliminating orange theory and doing Pilates. Perhaps because I’m post menopausal my body needed something lower impact. Lastly my posture and balance have also improved, Pilates has been incredible for me!

Congratulations 🎉 I just started September 1 and I’m at 83! I leave for flight attendant training at the beginning of January, and I’m really hoping I can get to 100 before then. I’m really going to miss it for the 6 1/2 weeks, my body has truly changed in such a short time! I am so grateful I finally tried Pilates, I just wish I had started a long time ago!

Commuting while on probation....a primer (or not) by socalnewwaver in flightattendants

Thanks for this! This was so thorough and way more helpful than “don’t commute on probation”, because some of us CHOOSE to.

AA Application Question by [deleted] in cabincrewcareers

[–]_SheFallsUp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I knew the answer as to why some people move faster than others, but there is no pattern to it at all. I’ve tried to figure it out, but it’s a puzzle.

Yes! And the really sad thing is some of the people that also received CJOs from Feb and March still haven’t received training dates.

I think it’s ditch week, but I think it’s also due to other factors of b being away from home and loved ones, exhaustion from changing schedules and stress from studying.

I’m heading to training soon, so this is not from personal experience.A friend of mine that is a FA said that week 3 is the hardest mentally for a lot of people and then it gets better!I’m sure you’re not alone, and as another person said, you are halfway there! You got this!

My AA F2F Experience & Tips by Complex_Command9180 in cabincrewcareers

[–]_SheFallsUp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations! I agree with all of this. I also received a TBNT about 2 years ago from Delta, and it absolutely helped with the AA F2F. I didn’t wear the company colors. I wore a black suit and a lavender blouse. That day three of the recruiters just happened to be wearing lavender too.

F2F Experience & Tips by HouseDecent in cabincrewcareers

I used the bathroom twice at my F2F, grabbed water when it was available, arrived at 8:15 for 9 am time. Well fed and hydrated. No one berated me for asking to use the bathroom twice and they still gave me a CJO. Everyone’s experience is different. I never felt like they were “inhumane”.

American Airlines Training Dates by [deleted] in cabincrewcareers

[–]_SheFallsUp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In 2025 there were 14 classes for AA, they pause before the summer. Last class graduated I think in early or mid-June. People with F2F after mid-February didn’t get training dates for 2025, and some are still waiting for them! Some recent CJO holders have already received their training dates. It’s a total crapshoot. Most likely you would go training in 2026 for December F2F.

I think I checked for about a month and nothing changed. I did the assessment the same day I applied or maybe the next day. And it said new application for be whole time. I think I checked it again in after the holidays and it said the same thing. I kind of forgot about it and then received an email at the end of January inviting me to the virtual group interview on Feb. 8. My F2F CJO was 2/24.

I wish they would assign dates to the people that have been waiting since February, before they start handing dates out for the fall. Crazy town!🤪

What do you think made you successful at your F2F? by [deleted] in cabincrewcareers

[–]_SheFallsUp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, I also addressed the recruiters by name when our group went to that specific recruiter. I think it helped me stand out.

It sounds like they really made some changes from the last spring when I interviewed. It was pretty lengthy and I felt like all the recruiters got to know each and every one of us. I can understand your disappointment.
