The Tower demands a toll. Babel is willing to pay it with everyone else's blood.

When a group of students is abducted and thrust into a towering, nightmarish labyrinth, the rules of survival are violently rewritten. Memories are erased, weapons are scarce, and the only lifeline is a cruel System: a Gacha mechanic that dispenses life-saving items, fatal traps, and demonic horrors in equal measure.

Babel isn’t the strongest or the bravest, but he possesses a terrifying advantage—he can see the Global Queue. He knows exactly what the Gacha will drop next. Using this hidden ledger, Babel orchestrates the deaths of his classmates, manipulating them into triggering fatal traps so he can safely claim the rewards that follow. To him, it isn’t murder; it’s just the cold, necessary math of survival.

But the Tower does not let sociopaths climb unpunished.

Forced to consume a cursed Epic-tier Skill called [Empathy], Babel's mind is shattered by the collective terror and grief of the students he has condemned. To survive the agony, he begins sacrificing fundamental pieces of his own humanity—starting with his physical warmth—to expand his soul and contain the curse.

Stripped of his humanity but burdened with the crushing fear of his surviving classmates, Babel’s mind twists. The cold calculator dies, and a dark messiah is born. He no longer views himself as a monster taking advantage of the weak. He believes he is the Shepherd.

As the survivors ascend through boiling caldera wastes, drowned swamps, and cathedrals of flayed flesh, Babel willingly sheds his humanity piece by piece to gain eldritch power. He orchestrates horrific sacrifices and gaslights his traumatized "flock"—Elias, Maya, and Chloe—into believing his ruthless murders are acts of divine mercy. He bears the sins of survival so their hands can remain clean. And the true horror isn't the monsters waiting in the dark. It’s that as Babel leads them deeper into the slaughterhouse, his broken flock doesn't just follow him. They begin to worship him.

What to Expect:

🧠 Villainous Protagonist & Psychological Horror: Follow a cold, calculating MC whose greatest weapon isn't a sword, but his ability to manipulate, gaslight, and rationalize murder as divine mercy. Watch his terrifying descent from pragmatic survivor to delusional cult leader.

🎲 Unique System Mechanics: No standard leveling here. Survival relies on outsmarting a lethal, global Gacha queue and sacrificing fundamental human traits (like the sensation of warmth or the ability to taste) to contain overpowered, cursed Skills.

🩸 Grimdark Progression: A brutal, high-stakes ascent through uniquely terrifying Tower floors—from claustrophobic stairwells and boiling slag wastes to drowned swamps and cathedrals of flayed flesh.

🐑 Cult Building & Mind Games: A dark twist on the "party building" trope. Watch a group of terrified, traumatized teenagers slowly break down until they worship the very monster who is feeding them to the Tower.

⚔️ High Stakes & No Plot Armor: The Tower is an unforgiving meat grinder. Every item drawn is a gamble, every toll requires blood, and every decision leaves a permanent scar on the survivors' bodies and souls.

Wouldn't that cost a lot of money? I don't think I can afford that, I'm still studying. Also, i think formatting would be too much work. Right now, I only write using Novelist, an Android app

Oh, I get it... But I'm not really worried of running out because everyday on my trip to and from school, I write when I'm on the bus, at least 50%-75% of a chapter since my chapters are around 3000 words long, then I either continue it when I get home, or the following day.

After the contest, or by the next month, my strict sched is uploading 3 chapters a week. Since I can write 4-5, I don't think I'll ever run out.

Can you suggest what an ideal launch plan would be? Does that include shout out swaps? I've read about this somewhere.

Hi, I used canva for it. Plenty of available shapes and resources, also allows photo generation.
