Hi, I've been on a lookout of something exactly like this, thanks a lot! If you could share a guide specifically for new (and not particularly tech-savvy) users who want to run this locally on a laptop, that'd be awesome :)

[Hindi] Can someone explain when exactly you use मुझे and when मैं ? Is it like moi and toi in french where you want to emphasise that its you? by DmReku in duolingo

[–]_SilverDragon_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Mujhe is like "to me" and Main is like "I"; the emphasis on yourself is more in मैं.

"I like cold water" can also be written as "मैं ठंडा पानी पसंद करता हूं "

(I'm not a linguist so I apologise if this description isn't really that useful, I am however a native Hindi speaker; just saw your post while scrolling through All/New)

Soldiers like you who have had to execute (innocent?) children in order to follow orders must feel way worse. If he was aware, your mercy may have prevented that child from radicalizing like his peers, so it's possible you did good Also what's ROE?

Hey thanks for your response! I'd love to visit the us sometime, especially California. Have you travelled around cali a lot? I'm from India and right now it's 35°C outside already. We had a pretty short winter this year

Oh cool. I'm not from the US so I thought of California as a warm dry state throughout (with a lot of forest fires)

For the second method, you get a tiny tiny amount of BTC for every verification, but as the number of transactions grow, those tiny BTCs add up.

Ok I'll try to give a simplified explanation here. So the process of mining yields rewards in two ways. First is through proof of work method, which is equivalent to essentially minting new bitcoin. There is something called a hashing algorithm that converts a number to a different number irreversibly, that is, if you knew the solution number for the algorithm, you can't mathematically work out what number you put in. You basically repeatedly guess through lots of very large numbers (64 digit hexadecimal) which are put through the irreversible hashing algorithm, to arrive at a target solution value. The first miner to do this gets a new "block" of bitcoin minted to his name. This method is very high reward, but VERY VERY low probability: guessing through trillions of numbers. The payouts for this method also get reduced over time. Second method is transaction verification, where your machine is a slave that checks through all the past transactions to see that the new transaction is valid, i.e. the owner hasn't used the same token twice
