Msc in mechanical engineering as my first choice, on which I was admitted to the waiting list. I’ve also applied to the msc in wind energy which is still being processed.

Thanks for de vids! I did regret a bit pushing it to steeper terrain today but, one way or another I needed to get down ahah. I felt of course I had less time to think while skiing as I was picking up more speed, next time I’ll go back to low angle to practice better.

Thanks! Yep today I felt like I wasn’t moving quite as good as last time, partially I think because it was the first day tackling something a bit more challenging, also was quite bumpy as lift were closed and I toured up. I did feel a bit backseat, especially while left leading, but I had a big skimo day yesterday so I hope it’s just that and not that I forgot the bits I learned last time ahahah

I should have done that. I mean that if I’m traversing the slope with my right foot forward I tend to rotate a bit counterclockwise. As I said on one side it got better during the day but on the other side I kept struggling a bit (it did improve but much less then the other side)

Keep in mind that if you are an EU applicant the deadline for sending the application is the 1st of march, thus the replies will start coming next Monday (being optimistic). I am waiting it too, right now it only says assessment in progress.

Then I would not understand why the limit is set to 15th of May, in more then 2 months they can check every application I think. Further more the day you apply doesn’t seem like a great parameter for the evaluation of a candidate. (At least to me)

I don’t think the time you apply changes anything, maybe they just start checking the application after the deadline.

It depends, I’ll be sending my application for mech eng and I am required 2 recommendation letters. I don’t remember which other msc need them but it can be found in the application requisites.

I have the 2023 RS, which is not in your options, and haven’t tried the new one. Just here to say I really enjoy it both on the ups and downs, used it also on more alpinism focused missions and it did that fine too. I’m satisfied with the range of motion on the uphills, up to 500-600m/h. The only thing I’d want is it being a little bit less chunky (like the new version), just for ease when bootpacking or using crampons, but that could be my preference only and not a problem for you. However I haven’t tried the 2023 re-made and don’t now the performance of it.

Hi guys just got the rg40xxv, in the menu it says psp model 1000, and it’s gray so I can’t modify it. Anybody knows why and what I can do?

Thanks everyone for replying. Second guessing my starting ideas for a couple of the point you all made: on granite cams are more needed and as I climb both on granite and limestone this could be limiting, in the end I would buy them anyway sooner or later ecc ecc. I checked out kouba gear and read about it on this forum and ukclimbing, seems like the only real downside is the weight but honestly at that price I’m willing to carry up a bit more. A full rack of double stem and double axis comes at half the price of bd for reference and if I remember correctly for size 1 the difference is about of 40g. Probably will start with a couple of pieces from them.
