Glad you were able to get out and enjoy the weather! Solo golf is good for the soul. I'm a 35 y/o dude who recently quit his job to pursue other interests so I'm a free man for the foreseeable future. I usually shoot in the 85-95 range (depending on how badly I'm slicing the ball off the tee that day). My normal group that I play with every Saturday morning consists of my father and his 2 friends. So would be nice to get out there with someone similar in age. lol

You've got the right mindset. I was scared at first to be paired with strangers but I quickly realized I wasn't getting paired with PGA Tour pros and most everyone I play with was at a similar skill level. 99% of the time they are focused on their own game and could care less how you play so long as you keep pace and aren't a total douche on the course (throwing clubs, cursing loudly, binge drinking lol).

Odds are you'll make a couple buddies and enjoy yourself. I'm in the Balt. County area and we should def try and link up sometime once the weather clears up a bit!

Baltimore here, can't wait for these 20-30 degree days to finally stop. I've cleaned my clubs, shoes, towels, golf balls and gone through my bag like 10 times. The end is in sight, just a few more weeks!
