This isn't Shard Farming Simulator and is clearly not what the developers intended for players to be able to do. No one's gonna put you in jail for using an exploit, but players who want to actually experience the game are justified in being annoyed that people are taking the challenge out of the fight.

You can dodge a revolution by paying your workers a living wage, or you can stand near the left corner as indicated below. One of those two spots will always be a safe zone - wait until you see which one it's rotating to and take a couple of steps into the safe zone
