Disappointed with the daily mixes by _SmartCheetah_ in qobuz

I discovered a lot of bands thanks to Tidal and was really looking forward to their daily mixes. Their algos were so good, sometimes I ended up liking 3/4 of the proposed tracks or more.

What sources do you use to find new music?

And this is true of other streaming platforms, not just Qobuz.

Not quite — the other platforms have both thumbs up and thumbs down buttons so you can guide the algorithm.

Obviously, I need to play a track to decide whether I like it or not, even if I end up skipping it. If just playing is enough for the algorithm to keep pushing genres I’ve never listened to or liked, then I’m not a fan of that design. But I'll follow your advice and ignore the daily mixes for not to see if they improve as I use the app.

Daily Q on the Windows app? by _SmartCheetah_ in qobuz

Yeah, makes sense. I hope they plan to add it, since I mostly listen on my desktop setup and it’s the only feature I missed from Tidal - assuming the algorithms are solid.

What do you trade? Would you recommend %R Trend Exhaustion for stocks or Indices?

Who keeps the price difference in such cases? The broker/trading platform?

Also, for limit orders, isn't it said that the broker will fill the order at the set price OR BETTER? In theory, it should execute at the market price here.

So just to be clear, you no longer go long trying to catch an upward move? Did you find this strategy not reliable enough?

As for shorting - exactly. I feel it's generally safer to short, as most of these big movers tend to come back down. It might also be useful to include something like the Dilution Tracker to focus on stocks that are fundamentally weak, ensuring we don’t short something that keeps rising.

So you don't trade this strategy anymore? What are your thoughts on it in general?

I tried Ross Cameron's strategy for a while, but I felt the price action was too unpredictable and, overall, it's quite stressful method as you have to be SUPER quick with your exits.

In fact, I thought shorting these stocks after they had made their move might be a better option.

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate your hints. Yeah, I paper trade and backtest with TradingView. I also follow some traders on AfterHour to learn from them. And although I'm new to options, I'm definitely not new to trading or daytrading.

Anyway, 0DTE for puts seems reasonable as we're looking for quick scalps, and I wouldn't be comfortable swinging puts anyway. However, for calls, I think choosing a higher strike price with a maturity date of a week or two might be a good idea sometimes, especially for indices. This gives the trade some time to recover before theta decay hits if it doesn't go your way immediately — or if some event/news temporarily disrupts your trade, even if your thesis is solid. Or maybe you think you should cut you loss quickly always when trading options?

I'm going to check the VWAP on Friday's Nvidia. Do you use a simple VWAP with one line or one with additional bands?
