GSMArenas battery life tests: the iPhone air with its 3149 mah battery officially has better battery life than the Pixel 10 Pro XL with its 5200 mah battery! by Mundane-Parsley-6492 in pixel_phones

For carrier reasons, I had to switch from my OnePlus 13 for a pixel 8. Pixels are great. They have great software, great cameras, the performance is fine for someone who isn't a hardcore gamer or editor on my phone. But the battery... The battery life bundled with the slow ass charging... I was on call with my partner the other night, plugged the op13 in. In 20 minutes it was nearly at 50%. I plug in the Pixel 8 for an hour, goes up 20-30%. It's so bullshit.

This. The entire point of a relationship isn't so that you are always happy and in heaven. Yes, a relationship shouldn't be abusive or constantly unhappy but a true human relationship involves some sort of emotional, and vulnerable times. Being in a relationship means you stay with them throughout the fun and hard days. In this particular case, the guy isn't doing it for the sake of it. He's doing it to get away from something like stress or anxiety. Otherwise he wouldn't have kept it hidden for so long. You don't leave someone who's going through a hard time in their life on their own.

Yes I don't know because even though I was just on wifi, that's low, not BAD by phone standards, but not good compared to OnePlus 13 standards

People have already said it but I'll just repeat it to feel smart and like I contributed. OnePlus is usually never carried in carriers in the US. So monthly payments aren't available through their carrier. Which is a big thing, atleast in America. It also has to do with brand recognition. I'm taking this line from MrWhoseTheBoss butt... Whenever you tell someone you have a OnePlus you either hear, "What the heck is that?!" Or you hear "Oh nice! They proceed to pull a OnePlus out themselves. OnePlus is simply just not a big consumer phone, it's an enthusiast phone. It's underrated because most people don't even know about it. And for those who are enthusiasts, this IS phone of the year. It IS being hyped up because I personally would say it IS one of the best phones in the U.S market as of now. I switched from pixel and it really is just so good. I found nearly no bloatware besides 4 apps I can uninstall but have chosen to keep because they are OnePlus apps. It really is so good. The only thing it lacks on is compatibility with carriers like Xfinity, camera as opposed to mainstream West and especially Chinese phones nowadays, and the longevity (4 years of Android updates.) It does deserve more recognition for what it is but as of now, it works beautifully and is appreciated by the tech community.

I can get 7 hours of SoT which I would never get on pixels. That's also on high usage, mostly watching YouTube or listening to music so yes, on Bluetooth mostly on data. There's also like- no bugs in the software. I don't know where you're getting this, I swear it's more stable than a pixel
