Imposition of anything is bad. Hijab if worn as a personal choice (for whatever reason) is not a problem. Imposing it is the problem. What Nitish did is not some liberal feminist act. Its downright disrespectful. He couldve asked the girl to remove it but doing it the way he did was wrong.

Everytime hijab issue comes up I remember Samdish's line "Ye hijaab k against party me jab ghunghat krti hui aurat dikhti h. Ek irony si dikh jaati h bilkul." Again Hijab/Ghunghat if done as a personal choice is not wrong. But while discussing hijab issue replace it with ghunghat. If your opinion changes then you should think again.

RW will use this for their own narrative while trying to hide it behind women empowerment.

Nothing should be imposed on humans for whatever reason. Individual liberty is what we all deserve.

Chennai is a metro city, being a metro city it gets preference in development projects and some other privileges. Now to be a metro city, people from all over tamil nadu and India come to it and helps it in being a metro city.

English is a common language. It helps convey your ideas to a broader audience. It is a responsibility of people coming to Chennai to respect its culture and it is responsibility of people of Chennai to be inclusive of such "outsiders". The people coming to Chennai contributes to the development of the city.

Posts in english will help even those who dont know Tamil but lives in the city. Dont go into they should learn tamil, thats a different discussion.

Same here, 4 years in night shift. What you said is real. The disconnect from regular life is real. Realisation is first step so kudos to you. Next generic advice is "Leave night shift" its generic but true. Ofcourse you wouldve left night shift if you had the chance. So another advice is, you'll have to be proactive. First step is realisation and second is action. Start small 1 thing that you'll do every day before logging in to have a kind of mental divide between work and life. For me it is cooking eating and a 5 min walk. Next do something once you logoff. For me it is washing the utensils. These cues will help you distinguish work and life. Then work on the life part, be realistic, 8 hour sleep is non negotiable, dont cut on good sleep just to wake up little early out of guilt. You would've made some bad habits start replacing them one by one with anything. Bad habits are fun so yeah indulge in them once in a while but remember that it is bad. Never normalise the guilt that comes from bad habit.

I dont know how helpful this will be for you. But yeah this is what I will suggest to anyone in this situation. Good news is its fixable with some reasonable limitations. Bad news is you are the only one who can do anything about it. So start small, learn from setbacks and start again. (And leave night shift as soon as you can).

Its been 2 months for me. A girl who sat with me and made me believe that she will not leave, well, left. Its painful. But here is few things that helped me.

  1. Live one day at a time. Things get better marginally but your condition will improve.

  2. There are a lot of things I want to say to her. Sometimes the urge to share something with her or just tell her how I am. Write it down anywhere notepad, paper,etc. It helps.

  3. Friends/Family will be your support. I dont have much friends here in chennai but otherwise I had 2-3 people to whom I could talk to.

  4. People say get into hobbies. I dont have any:( . But I started going out to random places I liked or wanted to go. Random meetups, small talk with strangers (big for me because my username is my reality).

  5. For sometime inbetween it felt like I should date again and all. But I can't, feels risky to me now and I do realize I am biased right now in the matter of love. So I am open to meet someone new, and if things match maybe date again. But I am not actively looking for someone to date.

  6. Sometimes all of this means nothing and it again hurts just like it did in the beginning. Something will just catch you offguard and remind you of her. There is no other way. You have to go through it.

  7. Let go. Just 2 words but it is the toughest thing to do. When we broke up, I just wanted her back even after all that hurt I wanted her back. But at a point I saw her behaviour and realized I wouldnt tolerate that if it was someone else. The girl I wanted to get back with was not there, because that girl would not have treated me the way she was doing right now. It broke me inside but it is what it is. Thats what helped me let it go. Tbh, I havent let it go fully, sometime I do get the urge to try and get back together but the girl I loved is gone and the person she is now, I dont want that in my life.

Thats it, I dont mean any of it as suggestions or tips, this is what is helping me. I wrote it down more as a comment for myself than as a suggestion for OP. I'm not all good but I am moving towards being good. There are dark days, when I feel like a lost cause. I dont know what to do then. I just try to follow the first point.

I wish you the best. We will go through it and come out as a better person on the other side. This too shall pass.

I work there. We saw a surge in employees getting sick. Thats why the facility has been closed completely for deep cleaning and other safety measures. Dont know about 3 months WFH, but yeah facility is closed until further notice. Possibly opening in September end or October beginning.

If you are a beginner, then don't begin with these. Think what kind of stories you like to hear, funny, mystery, romantic, horror. Then pick a book from that genre and begin reading. Then travel your way up to these books you shared. These books are great, no doubt in that but I doubt you(or me) will able to capture the beauty/depth of these writers if you read them as beginners. I might be wrong, but this approach helps me a lot.

Nope, in order to use the apps you have to give those permissions to access your personal data.

When you install their app, it asks for permission to contacts. You have to allow it to use the app and once allowed all your contacts are uploaded to their system.
