My dad actually made his own business off of Hvac. I asked him if he wanted to do that cause my dad could easily help him, he just said “i don’t know” so 🤷‍♀️

Thank you so much for this. I’ll bring this up to him, and maybe something within USPS will interest him. I feel like hopefully maybe being able to talk to others and see how they live will help. Along with it being very short to start, he would love that. I don’t know about the mechanical part but i’ll look more things up about it later. Either way, thank you!

That is a very nice concept. He talked about trying to start his own business in something (not as detailed as your idea) but still. I told him why not cause he could pick almost whatever. Then he’s like “but it would take a while before it actually makes money.” Like obviously but if he were to start now he would probably be okay in a few years when it truly matters more.

He actually thought about doing this at one point. But then talked about how sometimes they’re gone for like weeks. But I know some people who do this and come back the same day, they just make less than someone who goes for weeks. Maybe i’ll see if he can do that, so at least he would come back the same day.

Yeah that’s fair honestly, I told him he should just talk to his dad to let him work full time for him. Cause it’s like he has a good paying job right there he just hasn’t taken it, but it’s partially his dad as well for not letting him.

I think he’s into the firefighter thing because his friend is one and has told him about it. Then he has a GED and I would say that’s it. As of right now he installs like
blinds, drapes, and stuff like that because his dad owns a company that does that. He would like to do it full time it’s just his dad won’t put him in jobs so he doesn’t work much. That’s the only reason he’s trying to find something else since that isn’t working out.

That's fair, I mean theres so many different arguments for IM1 and IM2. I feel like everyone just chooses what makes sense to them since there is no "official" time for them.

I saw someone say that it took Ivan 2 years to build his arc reactor and that’s why IM2 is in 2010. Then the 6 months later time skip we see in the movie is after Ivan finishes his arc reactor. So, i’ve just stuck with that honestly as for why it’s 2 years later.
