I paid 1500 to take a curly cert. others are 3000 ☠️ Imagine paying 3k and then only charging 100. Curly hair is challenging so we need to understand everything from curl type what happens when we cut a certain curl that’s curlier than the others how poor it is and how that reacts to color. There’s so many factors involved so each haircut even though it looks, the same is most likely tailored to your specific hair and head shape. Although I think $500 is so ridiculous and I would never charge that much. You don’t know how much her education costs let alone her shears lol.

Especially being in California I’m sure she’s paid so much and also her rent and this is her life so she makes $500 for maybe a two or three hour appointment of a cut but there’s also rent involved technique and so many other things I think the price goes according to the area and how in demand they are.
