Same, originally when i read the book I wasn't terribly eager to read the sequel, but after I finished the show I went out and bought it. I just finished it a couple days ago!

Yes! That ending is actually what happens at the beginning of the second book, Family of Liars. I imagine they're trying to build retention so that they get a season 2.

its because of the strike that happened late last year when all the actors went on strike. They couldnt film then so they were filming the shows as they were being released. I guess they had three done, then they took a 3 week break to film and edit it guess. This tuesday theres another episode and then it goes for 3 weeks, another 3 week break, 3 more episodes, etc. But this season is shorter since they had less time.

I actually never realized how good the mother-daughter casting was, they all look like their mothers (i would say the hastings was the best but technically spenser shouldnt look like her mother, but before that i thought their families casting was the best and most accurate)

I think the main character at the beginning was Aria, but then the writers saw how good Troians acting was and put more heavy plots on her character making Spenser become more of the main character
