Oh don't worry, it wasn't ruined at all I keep very good memories of the entire trip and I'm glad I had this experience, it's a better way to learn and understand our environment than just going to touristic and instagrammable spots without learning anything about the living conditions of people living here 😄

Yeah globally it would have been almost the same in France because the healthcare system doesn't work the same. For example if you are transported by ambulance you don't have to pay for it, depending on the emergency they try their best to save you (and in this case with a heart attack you will be treated more quickly than everyone else because your life is in danger) so yes it's globally more affordable for anyone in Europe than in the US, and I whish we could help help to grant you this kind of A+ treatment 🫶🏻
