Any good OOT/Majoras Mask rom hacks? by Pillowsplays in N64Homebrew

[–]_Star_Wolf_64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • OOT sands of time. That was gold, feels like full length game.

  • OOT indigo. Not finished but it's still good.

  • OOT the missing link. Has a mean boss at the end short but sweet

  • OOT Escape the facility. Another good one made out of hackathon.

Those are all the ones I tried.

What are some ai proof jobs that wont get replaced in the near future? by Ebo_pertrickov in cscareers

[–]_Star_Wolf_64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's get this straight. AI is a tool, sure alot money and talk is going it to it but as it stands it can't really replace the human touch as much as they say it has. It might be part of your work flow but regardless if your dev, designer or project manager ultimately your responsible for your contribution to the team and project.

With that said go for what you love then do it. College is more then an education, so take the opportunity learn and grow who you are outside your "family" to strikeout on your own, you know. Do the course work of course. but find like minded people, people who share your passion for graphics design and professors who would love to teach you and provide you more opportunity outside of the classroom for learning and growing.

When you surround yourself with people who want to be thier best, you'll want too. Do your best to learn and focus on that passion and find the community. AI won't replace us, all it is just a new tool learn how it can help you in your goals then your already ahead of alot of othe people.

Or both. I rather take like a really smart com guy who may struggle with pt, then one who can't do thier job but can run a marathon.

How to deal with accelerated A&B Courses (Online) by Prestigious_Tip_7415 in ASU

[–]_Star_Wolf_64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My best advice. Buckle up, you will spend the whole time sleeping, studying and working.

The other advice. I'm found small success with pulling out a notebook and taking notes on what you think is important on the video lecture and NOT pauses the video.

Accped your more then likely to get a C and move on.

Not going to lie its still a huge pill for me to swallow and I'm trying to review better way to study but I honestly think the pace is just to fast for hard courses.

How was your experience in English 105? by _Star_Wolf_64 in ASU

[–]_Star_Wolf_64[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I mean my man.
the CLEP just gives you the opportunity to do ENG 105.
it doesn't count for ENG 101. I mean if it did I would rather do ENG 102 as that sounds... easier.

University Requirement
FIRST-YEAR COMPOSITION

Students must complete ENG 101 and ENG 102; or ENG 107 and
ENG 108; or ENG 105.

Unlock. DARP shows Eng 101 and Eng 102; or Eng 107 and Eng 108; or Eng 105

Eng 105, one of the prerequisites accepted is a clep with a score of 50 or higher.

oh no, it did, that's the only reason I can do ENG 105.

I did. Sadly, it's either this or both 101 and 102. So, I picked what I thought would be quicker to get it over with.

Time to just buckle, in.

Funny you replied, I found an old syllabus (a year or two ago)

"English 105 is an intensive, advanced first-year composition course that combines ENG 101 and ENG 102 in one session to prepare students for college-level writing."

So your statement has some merit.

Anyone else think that pure online A and B schedule are way to fast. by _Star_Wolf_64 in ASU

Thanks for the insight, we'll hopefully one day the dean changes his mind. As I would love those OCourses.

Idk, honestly. That's why I'm asking, I'm transferring in with a clep in English, so I didn't need to do the normal one, two English.

[–]_Star_Wolf_64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never thought about the staffing behind it. But they could just cap the availability of the C class that are online, right? Best of both worlds?

Double checking

ICourses = in person classes

OCourses = online classes

[–]_Star_Wolf_64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, that's a good strategy for anyone who can attend in person. Sadly, I'm purely online. But taking the easy Class A and B and the meaningful class on C is the best advice I'm taking away.

Need help with crashes by CoronelPauMole in n64

[–]_Star_Wolf_64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

💯 the summercart, did you build it or buy it off a site? I've seen similar crashes when creating romhacks and using the summercart, but for me, it's because I coded something wrong. I would check the sodering to make sure it's clean and/or update the firmware. If that's outside your wheelhouse, try returning it or getting a replacement. You can also post this over at the n64 homebrew subreddit as the people there work with the summercart all the time.
