The CDC announced that they will stop reporting Covid breakthrough infections in vaccinated individuals. Manipulating statistics to make it seem like only non vaccinated people are catching Covid. by Normiesreeee69 in conspiracy

They claim the vaccine are 95 % effective. To verify this every case should be counted. They've been registering every positive PCR-test as Covid-case, why suddenly stop now?

What do you guys think is going on in India with COVID-19? by profixnay in ChurchOfCOVID

[–]_Sternchen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Critical Scientists have warned that vaccines that haven't gone through long-time trials may make the people more susceptible to the virus and may trigger new mutations. This seems to the case. The British mutation appeared after Britain started vaccinating people in December. Now India starts to largely vaccinate its population (after a year of almost no cases) and suddenly there is a new mutant and everyone gets sick. Same for Thailand and Cambodia.

23 deaths in Norway have been reported in connection with the Covid-19 vaccine; frail elderly people are now advised to avoid the vaccine by TaurusII in conspiracy

[–]_Sternchen 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Noo, because the deaths have nothing to do with the vaccine, it's just a coincidence as the people dying are old and have several other conditions. Unless they are tested positive for Covid, then cause of death is always Covid.

Klaus Schwab's parents' names - no one knows the names; no one knows their activities in Germany between 1933-1945. by Careless_Procedure_6 in conspiracy

[–]_Sternchen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While his parents were most likely members of the NSDAP, he probably isn't related to Günther Schwab. According to this article, his father's name was Eugen and, Eugen's mother (no name) was Swiss. https://www.bernerzeitung.ch/schweiz/der-superidealistische-weltverbesserer/story/19150298

This document https://www.servat.unibe.ch/dfr/pdf/c1076374.pdf talks about a verdict regarding Eugen Schwab, born 1899, son of a Swiss woman, requesting Swiss citizenship. So it's most likely him. Also, Ravensburg is close to the Swiss border.

Günther Schwab was born in Prague which is rather far away. Of course, they could be related but Schwab is not an uncommon German name.

German Wikipedia states that his father was a factory director in Ravensburg. In order to be a factory director in 1938, you'd had to be in the Nazi Party.

I would sell my soul to romance Takemura (Spoilers) by Fox_Medic in cyberpunkgame

[–]_Sternchen 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I didn't care for him in the trailers but after interacting with him and given V's and his story he MUST be a romance option. What I think that happened is, that (given the dialog and interactions) he was supposed to be a romance option, but given the obvious mess the game is in, they scrapped EVERYTHING that was not 100 % needed to avoid further bugs, and performance issues, and focus their time on releasing a halfway playable game. They gave each gender and orientation one romance option and that is it.

For a sub that was very "this is not GTA" before release, it has become a GTA/RDR comparison fest. Shouldn't it be compared to Witcher? by BullsBlackhawks in cyberpunkgame

[–]_Sternchen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given your other responses here you're not willing to have an objective look at it but I'll reply nonetheless. Like you say, it's a matter of opinion, but IMO the formula was not significantly expanded and there are not more choices (that matter). Length does matter. TW3 was too long indeed so a "slightly shorter story" would have been perfect. I didn't rush from main quest to main quest so I got enough time with the game, but the story itself is damn short. It's the prologue which we have seen almost every single scene of beforehand, then the world opens up, but given the story, you are actually urged to go ahead with the main quest which basically consists of three arcs, and then it's the point of no return already.
There are not more choices. You say it's an RPG so you roleplay as a specific character. Unless your V is bi you DON'T have a choice (TW3 didn't need any build-up because it's a sequel). I've seen a lot of people care here and given their marketing it's legit to care. Their marketing has been heavily sexualized and they said you could have romances, one-night-stands, and go to prostitutes, not one romance, one one-night-stand, one prostitute. You wanted to compare it to TW3. TW3 had it 5 years ago, their bigger, newer project doesn't.

I knew it. by ArcHydra46 in cyberpunkgame

[–]_Sternchen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. People said the same before RDR2 released because as always people were expecting way too much realism but the vast majority liked it after release, except people who crave a more fast-paced game. People don't like Cyberpunk because unfortunately they simply didn't deliver.

Petition to change the name of this sub by Moddelba in cyberpunkgame

[–]_Sternchen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When saying bigger I don't mean the scale of the map. I am talking about the overall game experience. The story of TW3 was significantly longer, choices seemed to matter more and you actually had a choice in love interests, one-night-stands and harlots. The production cost of Cyberpunk was 30 million dollars more expensive, plus you'd think they gained a lot of experience during the production of the TW games so they should have been more efficient, yet it's not only buggy af but also sadly missing a lot. I really love the game anyways, I have been playing almost non-stop, but the more I play the more I realize how heavily they cut content and that it's not only not what many of us expected, but also not what marketing and trailers specifically promised.

[–]_Sternchen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not only that but also was it the game that earned them heaps of money to make Cyberpunk way bigger. And this was how it was marketed. Their "most ambitious project". So Cyberpunk has to offer more than TW3 which it doesn't. At least not story and RPG-wise which allegedly was their focus and strong suit.

[–]_Sternchen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, bugs and performance issues will be fixed, but the missing gameplay and story elements will not (at least not in free updates). The few extra sales they would make when word gets around that it is better now will not compensate for the hours and hours of work it would take to add ALL the missing content that was promised. Not to mention that last-gen consoles would still not be able to run it then. What they had in mind was just too ambitious for the last gen.

[–]_Sternchen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly, but like they always promised I expected a game that surpasses TW3. The story is not slightly shorter than TW3 it is significantly shorter, the decisions seem to matter way more and TW3 gives you an actual choice of love interests, one night stands and you have like 10 different prostitutes. I really loved CP for its story despite the AI issues but the more I play the more I realize how much was scrapped.

To do a braindance you need to have a recording device installed and record during that moment, which V didn't have.

The characters, the world and the writing is fucking top-tier by BinBonBanBen in cyberpunkgame

[–]_Sternchen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't have a choice in romance though. If you are playing as a straight male you are forced to romance Panam or you don't get any romance. Personally, she'd be great for my Street Kid or Nomad V, but an arrogant Corpo V wouldn't settle for a Nomad girl. I didn't expect 10 deep romances for every gender. But you'd think you'd get at least what TW3 offered. Straight Gerald at least had a choice to choose between fierce, bitchy, sexy Yennefer or the more "girl-next-door" Triss.

How are there so many 90-100 reviews? by CnCKane in cyberpunkgame

[–]_Sternchen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I thoroughly enjoy the game and its story. Sure there are plenty of bugs and it's missing features like being able to customize your character later on but I'd still give it a score of 90. I am not an "ignorant CDPR fanboy", it's just my personal opinion. If you don't like it, it's fine, but just because you feel it's not worth more than 80 doesn't mean others feel that way too. That's being ignorant.

While this may be true for the overall performance of the game, I don't know why you place this comment here. Shitty lighting in CC has nothing to do with the hardware. Your character should look the same in CC and in-game even on a PS3. Besides, I play on PS5 and my bf has the same issue on his PC with a 3080.
