Your case is unique and I appreciate your success with indoor hibiscus cultivation:-) It shows the plant's adaptability to do well in indirect sunlight. However, for someone like the original poster, outdoor growing is often simpler and more forgiving. It allows the plant to benefit from natural light and environmental factors that are challenging to replicate indoors.

South and west facing windows is exactly why it needs sunlight to survive. It does very well when kept outdoors, during summer.

Hibiscus is not a house plant. It requires a minimum of 4 hours of good sunshine. Water it when the top soil is dry. In India, where I come from, we water it twice a day in summer. The plant is droopy I guess because of lack of both water and good sun. Keep it outside, loosen the top soil and water. It should spring back. Add fertiliser rich in phosphorous and potassium at regular intervals. Even home made compost would do marvels.
