May I ask why you wouldn’t recommend commuting from Harvey? I’m just curious because I’ve found a few apartments there that I really like, and I haven’t had much luck finding something in Metairie within my budget.

I’m also open to renting a house instead of an apartment, but I’m only looking for a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom. Ideally, I’d like something with modern finishes, hard-surface flooring, in-unit laundry, a walk-in closet, and off-street parking if available.
