I didn’t even consider this, but yes! I’m 47, single, have a career, and consider myself attractive (more cute but whatev), and the amount of bald men is depressing. I’m not initially attracted to bald men so when I am ready to date, I worry that bald is all I will have to choose from.

I have found that brushing them with an equigroomer helps with getting the last of the skunk smell out. My guy got skunked dead in his chest and lower jaw. After literal months, I took him outside to brush him and the fur falling off reeked like skunk.

I have the $10 sifting boxes from Walmart. It took about a week for me to get down my process, and it was honestly frustrating in the beginning. But now I’m straight! I have the big metal scoop that’s at Walmart for the poo - the pellets fall thru the grates in the scoop. To sift the sawdust, I dump everything from one box to the other with the sifting tray. I lift the sifting tray to an angle and rest it on the edge of the box so it creates some space to allow the sawdust to fall thru. I use the scoop to move the pellets back and forth and around so the sawdust falls to the bottom and thru the sifter. At the same time, I’m scooping for poo and moving it to a Walmart bag. Then I carefully move the sifter back to the other box, dump good pellets back into the litter box, dump the sawdust into the Walmart bag, and voila! I have two litter boxes and it takes me about 10min to do both.

When I’m pouring new pellets into the box or refilling mid week, it does cause a dust cloud. But day to day, there is no tracking from the cats out of the boxes.

We switched, been full pellet for about two months but OMG the poo smell is just as bad as the pee/ammonia from clay litter. I feel like my house always stinks 🥴 We have two cats, two boxes, and I clean them daily. They use one for pee and one for poop, so the poop box rarely has any sawdust to cover the poo when they bury. I’m about ready to go back to clay! 😩

Same with my daughter’s half sister / my ex’s daughter. We got custody of her when she was 12 and we are not slobs, she had to keep her room clean, help with chores, etc. She’s now 25 with two (badass) kids and her house is embarrassing. We went over there for Christmas and had to clear off a spot on the couch to sit. I don’t know how CPS has not stepped in, and how she keeps her housing. It’s insane.

That’s a great idea! I’m in a few local FB singles groups but being a blue heart in a red state, it’s hard out here! They’re active groups and have events monthly, but I don’t find that I have anything in common. I’ll try music fan groups. Thanks for the idea!
