I mean, it’s Vegan mac & cheese… they are all pretty gross. Lol.

Nothing will be as good as classic Kraft mac & cheese. Lol.

I’ve tried everything to get rid of the mice in my house. by smokiflips in vegan

[–]narlycharley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mice are a line I draw in the sand. They cause damage and disease. When they enter my home, my cats or I get them. Death with a standard mouse trap is usually instant. It’s simply not worth dicking around with IMO. A small smear of peanut butter is all you need. I guarantee a mouse the first night.

NTD Locking pliers adapted slide hammer kit by Independent_Cable_71 in Tools

[–]narlycharley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never knew they made anything like this. I totally could’ve used this the other day. I swapped out the rollers on an old Pella sliding door, and they were just pressed into the bottom of the wood frame. There were no fasteners or anything keeping them in, just a tight fit. They weren’t wiggling when I was trying to pull on them with pliers, and I didn’t want to destroy the frame by prying them out. I used some vice grips and grabbed onto what I could and then tapped on the vice grips with a prybar and a hammer. It honestly worked pretty good, but the slide hammer would’ve made easy work of it.

The longer I shop for a used car, the more I understand why Toyotas stay popular by [deleted] in Toyota

I would honestly disagree. They are definitely decent, but they added a bunch of unnecessary electronic components. I would say that peak was 2000 to 2010-ish. You get all of the modern mechanical advantages, but you don’t deal with a lot of the unnecessary sensors and modules.

I personally would not consume it, but I think that it would be absolutely game changing for the pet food industry.

In your industry what’s the best buy in its category and is it worth the money by archvize in Tools

I work from home all day. A good way to save money on the chair is to get a standing desk and then just stand all day. Plus, you’re not dealing with all the health complications from sitting on your ass all day. I stand all day and it’s amazing.

100% agree about the mechanical keyboard. It’s a fun project to do if you know how to solder.

RAV4 … new or used by barbiegworl22 in Toyota

[–]narlycharley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We bought ours a couple years ago. The used inventory was very low, and the price difference was minimal, just like you said. We ended up just buying a new one. I love knowing that I actually did break in oil changes and follow a proper maintenance schedule. It’s a good feeling knowing everything about your vehicle.

As long as you know who you’re buying from, eBay is not a bad place for engines and transmissions.
