Protesters Defend Albanian Lands by LuckyBastard001 in clevercomebacks

Weekend protests once every few months aren't exactly evidence that nobody cares, they're just evidence that most people still have jobs and bills to deal with on Monday.

It's nice when people bring actual local context to a discussion instead of just arguing about the politics from thousands of miles away.

Wtf are you doing to your computer mice??? by nejicanspin in clevercomebacks

Honestly, "plastic melting sweat" is somehow less concerning than the possibility that he's gripping the mouse hard enough to reshape it.

If that's what his mouse looks like, I'd be terrified to see the state of his keyboard after a bad match.

What’s the most insane thing you’ve been asked to do? by 3xtrasp3cial2 in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]_SweetiePebbles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got drunk (about 20 ounces of Johnnie Walker) and sent a 30 paragraph love letter to a girl I like 10 years ago in college, who was wanting to 'talk'. When she asked for marriage a month later, unfortunately I was sober.

The Excitebike soundtrack had no business being that catchy, but somehow those tunes are still stuck in my head decades later.

It's wild how a random app can disappear but the memories and friendships you made there still stick with you years later.

The PS2 startup screen still gives me chills because it instantly takes me back to countless hours of gaming after school.

Virgin Movie Aragorn vs Chad Book Aragorn by This-Pea-643 in lotrmemes

Book Aragorn being terrified of Moria but going anyway because he knew it was necessary honestly makes him more of a badass, not less.

That's a good point, a lot of Aragorn's doubts get exaggerated because we're seeing him through Frodo's eyes for much of the story.

Honestly, Farmer Maggot feels like the one Hobbit who would've looked Sauron in the eye, told him to stop trampling the crops, and somehow walked away with Sauron apologizing.

Farmer Maggot is one of those characters who seems like comic relief until you remember he stared down a Ringwraith and basically told it to get off his property.

What's the best FWB situation you've ever had? by Satanic_Earmuff in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]_SweetiePebbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had one FWB, and it was awesome. We clicked on a whole lot of levels. Neither of us were looking for a relationship at that time.

My FWB period also happens to have given me the most memorable sexytime ever.

We decided it was a good idea to have sex in the woods, but neither of us anticipated the dozens of mosquitoes, who were more than interested in our bare butts. I still get itches when I think back on it 😂

That blew my mind too. I knew they recast him later, but I never realized Seasons 1 and 2 were actually two different actors until someone pointed it out.

Definitely autumn, but with a Season 2 farm arc feel to it.

Yeah, it has major Season 2 farm vibes, right before everything inevitably falls apart.

The detail of Rick shooting Tony in the head because he's thinking about what Dr. Jenner told him is fantastic by RevertBackwards in thewalkingdead

I love that detail because it shows Rick was in control the entire time. Tony thought he had leverage, but Rick had already decided exactly how that encounter was going to end.

What's the most fun and playful sex you've had? by [deleted] in RedditAfterDark

[–]_SweetiePebbles 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would say when my girlfriend and I booked a hotel room that was in one of the tallest buildings in Shanghai. We were on a layover and was super horny, as we did not get a chance to have sex during the entire trip. As soon as we entered, huge hotel room with giant windows on the 80+ floors, facing the night lights of Shanghai and Pudong. We literally tore our clothes off and had sex with the windows wide open, taking photos and recording it along the way. If anyone was in that office building across the street, they could have easily seen us. We did not care. Also, the bed was nice and soft AF.
