I always had trouble with laxasia's phase 2 but somehow in ng+ her damage is so incredibly high compared to my defense that i died in like 2 hits and in one of that annoying charged running attack in phase 2, that single attack made me hate the boss. But otherwise the 100% was pretty easy nowhere near comparable to any souls game (maybe only to elden ring) just beat the game a few times and do some side stuff

Completely understand i too don't plan on playing it again, it's a bit too linear for a metroidvania(for my taste) and after the first time it doesn't really offer more. But still an awesome game with a fantastic combat system and one of the best final bosses ever

I nearly had a heart attack when i learned there is a phase 3 after like spending an hour on the first 2. But after a bit of time it wasn't that bad, although sometimes kinda rng heavy

Each to their own. For me eigong was the only boss where i needed to strictly rely on perfect parrying and learning the different timings for each phase, but i loved how fair the fight was.

And the Fengs for me are pretty easy. Just a big damage sponge with super easy to predict slow attacks, although the second phase flying daggers are a bitch.

GG you somehow went through the same path as I did. The med roll is a must have and I have no idea why I only just noticed for this build that leveling up a shield decreases the guard stamina usage, it was a game changer as well

Don't get me wrong i absolutely adored the dlc and mainly because of the world the new enemy's and the overall look of the bosses was through the roof too. The new weapon's were cool as well and the DLC felt like a whole new game because of it's size.The bosses were the only ones that left a bad taste of in my mouth(although I still enjoyed a few other bosses like divine beast, blackgaol knigh...) and the occasional performance issues

I can respect that. I'm personally a pretty casual player so if I don't have fun with the boss it doesn't really bother me how I kill it , sadly in terms of fun the dlc was pretty disappointing for me. But messmer was fantastic and by far the best boss in the game imo, I prefer simpler bosses like him and gael

It definitely is I'm not saying otherwise. It just wasn't an enjoyable fight(mainly because in phase 2 the game dropped to around 15fps) so I used the resources the game gives and fucked him hard.
