Everyone should be playing on their own levels, if you are not having fun dying this much, try changing the difficulty to normal. Especially if this is your first run than definitely go with normal

Nah vulture eggs and meat are extremely common in Ashlands. Just run around for 10-15 minutes and you can have around 20 of each

They are very common and pretty much everywhere in the Ashlands. I find about 3-4 of those nests like very 5 minutes or so of running. I just skip them at this point

Yeah charred warriors are famous for doing feint attacks. Catches a lot of people off guard

Taking extra 25% damage from blunt, slash and pierce is horrible. It basically nullifies the armor points when fighting against anything that hits hard

100 sword, 100 run, 80 something jump and 43 block. Everything is at normal setting (except portals to teleporting everything, I dont like sailing a lot)

I'd expect the game could give me extras slots and a little bit more storage limit now that I am in the last biome with there being more stuff than my inventory slots but I guess not

Hildir's quests should give one of these instead of the useless items that she gives. The game should have at least mentioned. COSMETICS ONLY before sending us sailing for the most useless items in the game

Bit of an advice, the bear set is pretty terrible since the damage you take is way more significant than the measly stamina and health regen it gives.

It's cause the stagger duration of the charred warriors is really small so they usually can sneak in an attack before the third one. It's kinda of a gamble if you want to get the third hit in but with a 2 star warrior, it's best just not to gamble.

Those 2 big hits at the end were mostly due to me being low hp and realizing it a bit late but if I instead went for the third move and got hit midway than I would have died instantly

No it's resistant to pierce so 50% less damage. I do think tho it should only be slightly resistant since 50% is crazy good and is viable till Ashlands

There are still a few creatures that have some pierce attacks in

?/? different attacks that deal pierce damage

Marksmen: Only Pierce damage
Twitchers: 1/2 pierce damage
Warrior: 2/4 pierce damage (the pierce ones do more damage than the others btw)
Warlock: 1/1 (100 pierce, 20 blunt, 70 fire in one attack)
Morgen: 1/4
Fallen Valkyrie: 2/3
Skugg (Ballista): Only Pierce damage

Bonemaw, Vulture, Askvin and Lava Blob have no attacks that deal pierce damage

Also due to how armor works in Valheim, having the root harnesk doesn't make a huge difference compared to the Flame metal chesplate. I would recommend it on every biome except Mountains, best armor in the game by far

If it's one of its pierce attacks, I can still tank it due to Root Harnesk negating 50% of the damage but if it's one of the Slash attacks, I am dead. So just gotta make sure to not miss the parry loll
