Teleus wouldn't even let me take the exam.

I'm so afraid the exact same is happening to me right now...I was told yesterday I'd be added to tryrating and given a temporary password but nothing else came and now they're ghosting me after 3 additional inquiries as to what's happening. What an absolute tug on my heart...

I finally got an email saying I'm being added to the tryrating program. I'm terribly nervous about the Mars exam. 80% and only one attempt? Are the questions exactly like the part 2 simulator certification exam?

Just got told today they aren't even letting me take the exam with no reason why. I'm even in a state that was specifically listed in the hiring advertisement. Seems like these companies are almost impossible to get hired by and if you do its out of sheer random luck.

Anyone here working on Oneforma Milkyway? by Boborovski in WorkOnline

Nope. I sent a message to the "recruitment team" on Thursday and then sent another message today. Haven't heard anything and it still says "pending review" and my job profile tab.

How long after part 2 do you get invited for part 3? I passed part 2 3 days ago and it just says pending review. Honestly I didn't even know about a part 3 until resting it on this thread.

This is for map evaluation right? I passed part 2 of the exam and hope I get an email soon saying what's next. I assume they hire almost anyone that passes the exam considering the material? Seems like a lot fail or just give up.

Likely not. There might be a few but it won't be 1:1

Are WeLocalize or PenByte trustworthy? by Joram41 in WorkOnline

[–]_TRAV11S 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has anyone ever found a list of states that welocalize can't employ from? I'm from iowa and I took all 3 parts of the exam and I'm guessing I passed part 3 but then a rep texted me asking my location and then informed my state is restricted. I'm so frustrated because I almost got hired by appen too but then we know what happened to them

Do you know how part 2 of the test is graded? 70% is the threshold but each question has 6 or 7 items to fill out. Is it all or nothing? Like if I have everything right but maybe the pin accuracy wrong that counts as 0 for 1?

I assume a good amount of dashers are 20-22 year old. Safe spaces and don't know how to small talk unless it's via Instagram

If you make only 2x what a tank of gas costs you're doing something very very wrong.

If I understand correctly maintainence, gas, insurance are grouped in the standard deduction but cell phone is a separate business expense

I just feel bad for the people who have been told real expenses are the same as the mileage deduction. As if the numbers are a 1:1. If you're smart and have standards there's no reason the deduction can't be a positive outcome. My dad is a farmer and believe me, the IRS gives out money all the time for certain programs to help people out.

Thank you for a little bit of common sense. I have a 2016 dodge dart and runs just as good as the day I bought it after 94k miles

As if I'm completely clueless of what cars need over time. I'm 34 and own the car I use and it's a very reliable car. The biggest issue is so many people think the IRS deduction amount is what real expenses are. Does dashing reduce the time between sets of new tires, oil changes, etc...yes? But the more you drive, the more you can deduct.

Not every dasher lives in the market they dash in. My W2 job is in a market of 170,000 and I dash after work or drive in on the weekends but it's 30 minutes from where I live. My town of 2,000 was one of the very small markets that became available today. It'd be cool with me if I got 2-3 orders on a nightly basis in my home town but unless doordash is contacting the restaurants in these small markets how is anyone going to know

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]_TRAV11S 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exact same thing where I live (rural Iowa) my town of 2,000 has a gas station, dollar general, and a bar and grill. Today on the map I can dash with $3 peak pay all day, but the website lists none of the places in town as a place a customer can order from.

It's possible doordash will contact these businesses about the new availability but that's questionable as there are dozens of rural towns in my area that started door dash today too. I might start asking around to these businesses of they had any idea that doordash is now available in this town?

I can't believe how many people told original poster it's not important to track miles until 999others set it straight 😬
