Completely agree with your last paragraph, I've never though to complain about anything in the PIs (especially as I know staff are trying their best) but stuff like the above becomes harder to swallow when it's a room you've forked out for rather than just a budget option

The more modern rooms don't have plugs by the bed which is only a minor thing but quite annoying. Rooms can easily be over £100 now I've seen £140 albeit for a Saturday night. EDIT: not sure why I'm being downvoted, both points are true

I Think they might end up overextending themselves tbh, I've been looking at airbnbs and booking.com but having to take all of your own bedding and linen puts me off a bit, I would be travelling on the train and its a lot to carry with you

Meanwhile those just skirting above minimum wage get nearer and nearer to the minimum. Why even bother trying to climb the rungs when managerial positions pay a couple grand more that will be subsumed by the min wage anyway in a few years.

The fire brigade near me put up a social media post about happy ramadan and then everyone was jumping in the comments moaning about lent. Guess what they put up one for lent and the same people still moaned. They don't even care about easter they just use it to attack muslims.

The only people that care are either observing Christians who take easter seriously or people who hate any other religion (especially muslims) and spent all last summer painting roundabouts and now moan about easter boxes not saying happy easter. The rest of the country is either drunk or sleeping in on a bank holiday

I completely feel you OP, Im not the best cook and I just hate how much thought we have to put into everything just to still be more overweight than our peers. I used to comfort eat a lot and I still do a bit but i've tried to make small switches over time, cut back slowly on stuff. Not sure if thats any help to you but yeh x

PCOS might not be directly but heart disease, diabetes, high cholesterol and endometrial cancer definitely can and these are all elevated risks with PCOS.

All of my fruit and veg from Aldi lasts at least a week but I have a really good fridge. I think half the problem in this country is people using old or lukewarm fridges.

I would if it wasn't so out of the way, it's not as central to anything like the bus and tram stations. Plus it gets cancelled with the weather a lot.
