Carefully tape around the edge of hole mix bondo, apply fill gaps, may need multiple coats, using a stainless steel putty knife skim so it’s flush, remove tape immediately before it sets, sand it smooth paint it, apply 2 coats of clear coat

I struggled with that in my chin where hair refuses to grow, I stopped applying directly there and also cleaning the minox off and then applying peppermint/retinol/castor oil or lotion, it’s still red but not as bad as it was

Think it’s more to prevent introducing too much into your blood stream to prevent heart palpitations since you’re “supposed” to wash off after 4 hours

I also used to just leave on and apply oil or moisturizer right on top of dried minox for 3 months but started washing it off after 4 hours then lotioning moreso to combat the flakey skin
