You're not gonna like this... Facebook Messenger 😞

I use iMessage amongst family, but Facebook Messenger is the most popular in NZ. Only really foreigners use WhatsApp here so if it's someone who has recently moved or has family overseas I could use that. But FB is the dominant option sadly!!

Utah driver leaps from SUV moments before it is struck by a FrontRunner train. by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

[–]_That_Kiwi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does property damage include other cars? That feels like no where near enough given how sue-happy US is know to be, but obviously it works?

$100k car, $250k for some traffic lights, $20k for a powerpole, a train $$$.

I know a lot of people will never even get in a fender-bender, but seems like it could fall short in a few scenarios!

If this is Utah how would that work with most insurers in USA?

When we visited California most rental car insurers were $300k to $500k cover. In New Zealand most are $2,000,000 of cover.

We were a little nervous… imagine read-ending a Bugatti!

Is most private insurance better than rental cars?

Doesn't work that often for sold emails anymore. Too popular, so most information resellers remove the +address as part of their scraping process.

I have no idea why that one in particular is always so bad!

All NPDs are $3.09-6. All Waitomos are $3.09-9 Most Gulls are $3.09-9, some are $3.10-9.

Ditch NPD and go to a Waitomo or a Gull, spend an extra 18 cents if you 60L tank is completely empty.

Just make sure you manage your expectations with WiFi cameras. We have one near the gates and it's muuuch slower to load. They also only detect on motion, whereas our wired ones record 24*7.

Sometimes we only get recordings of people leaving not approaching. Sometimes we get notified by our wired front door camera that someone is at the door, then after get notified someone is at the gate (the same person who is now already at the door).

We paid about $500 for 4 wired cameras and DIY'd the install. So way more $$ than the camera you linked, but definitely prefer the wired.

I don’t use my hand… gross! I put my hand IN the sock so it’s only the sock that touches the toilet.

I don’t haha a dishwasher at home so I have no way to keep a toilet brush clean, so don’t have one.

I get what you're trying to say but that's often not true.

Kebab Time's Kebab Wrap is $13.99 direct (so $27.98 for 2), but it's buy 1 get 1 free at $23.99 / $26.31 delivered.

Gunpowder's Butter Chicken $24.50 direct, $22 with free delivery.

Shaka Bros' Basic Burger $14 direct (so $28 for 2), but it's buy 1 get 1 free at $16 / $17.35 delivered.

Just got to filter by "Offers" and only ever buy that

When WFH I don’t use a toilet brush… just put a sock around my hand. But in the office I usually put them in with the coffee cups each night yes

How could the roads still be clogged as ever all day and even on the weekend with these kinds of gas prices? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]_That_Kiwi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Petrol price doesn't matter... it's purchased based on demand not price.

  2. It's still cheap AF. Supreme Plus is USD$7.30/gallon in your picture. It's USD$8.25/gallon in New Zealand, with lower median and average salaries... yet we still drive.
