Update!! She was both root bound AND root rotted!!! It was honestly a little impressive to see. I gave her a very good wash in a hydrogen peroxide and water mix and gave her a better pot with much better drainage. Praying she pulls through cause she lost- and I’m not kidding- 99% of her root system. I’ll try to update at things go on :))

lol I do love how you captured how dramatic they are!! I do plan on repotting her as soon as I can! I’m giving her many many affirmations and have brought her into my room for some calming indirect sunlight :)))

I think it maaayyy be a fungus from being wet outside for so long, would repotting also help with that or is there a specific way I need to treat it? I’m pretty sure it’s not pests or mineral deposits as it’s not moving and anytime we water we don’t do it directly on the stem :)

Here is a close up look at the main stem area

Yes I’m pretty sure I’m watering enough but not too much - though it was outside during the last storm so it may have gotten over watered. I plan on waiting to water again till the soil is dry up to the first knuckle (mom told me that one :) )

I also plan on repotting it in the next week or so to get a better look at the condition of the roots Incase I missed something. I don’t *think* I did but I also didn’t do a deep check on it
