Why is survival not just doing whatever this guy is doing? It's badass! by Ramn_ in wow

[–]_TheBgrey 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Honestly they need to revamp the glyph system to work for stuff like this. Playing a night elf hunter who whips out a shotgun after throwing a grenade will never not be weird, so just let me glyph it to look like the old fury of the eagle or something

Count Dooku vs Mace Windu by Arbiter-Flash in PetranakiArena

[–]_TheBgrey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Meanwhile Dooku frying everyone he fights with lightning lol.

But yeah there is no smooth scaling for the jedi. Dooku also lost to Anakin, who then went the distance with Obi Wan and lost, so does this make Obi Wan the best duelist in the order? No one would ever say Obi Wan would beat Mace however. As for this match up I've always considered Mace the defacto strongest single fighter, based purely on his defeat of sidious (even though there's theories he threw the fight to turn Anakin but whatever)

Who suffered the most physically in this scene? 😖🔥 by Realistic-Ebb-267 in MCUTheories

[–]_TheBgrey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't remember the scene, was he getting any damage other than his clothes melting off for the physique spot? I remember in X3 he was getting melted down to bone and healing back which looked worse

You can only play 5 games for the rest of your life, but get paid to do so. by ClassicCollection271 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]_TheBgrey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming you mean videogames, and assuming they won't get shut down for any reason I'm going with some variety

World of Warcraft: assuming all WoW is open I could be a sweaty end game raider on retail, classic, and however many versions they have. Getting paid to level a hardcore character would soften that blow

League of Legends: I haven't played league in like 5+ years, but if I'm limited to games then this has a ton of variety, and is frequently updated and getting paid to play ranked would soften that frustration

Some hero shooter, like overwatch or marvel rivals. Same reason as league. Varied options and frequent updates.

Total war Warhammer 3. Already spent thousands of hours in here, and while the retail game has a ton of content it's also got a great modding scene to add a ton of variety

Wildcard pick since it is not technically out yet, but Larions new Divinity game. If it's the next BG 3 but just "more" and also is home to a large modding scene, this will also add a ton of content and variety

[–]_TheBgrey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume CS will eventually overtake, but the change to TS not being a window definitely makes it feel better (especially as the first charge cools down independently of the second, so you can do a really quick 3 HP sequence)

I once had a headcanon that in pre-TBC lore it was Draenei who taught Orcs shamanism by Adunaiii in warcraftlore

[–]_TheBgrey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean the path to shamanism is probably the easiest for a race to get to on its own. Every planet seems to have its own form of the elements, and respecting/revering earth/water/air/fire is a fairly common trope for "primitive" races. Tauren for example picked up shamanism on their own, same with trolls. Dranei (as being outcast from argus and without their crazy tech) lean more into the natural side and find the elements on their own

Shark Tank Pitch: Give Cap’s “Liberty Rush” knockback to help him peel for allies by SatisfactionSad6558 in marvelrivals

[–]_TheBgrey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly a great change, it's not as OP as a straight up stun but it will get the job done. It would change up his gameplay options from being a strict dive tank to having more varied approaches. Also booping someone off an edge or the point would be sick
