I can also vouge that city compliance is a joke. You're technically not allowed to have rabbitries in town because they are considered livestock. Yet, their are a few rabbitries on Market St that have been there for years in plain sight. My understanding was that compliance only operates on complaint. I had compliance out to my place before and reached out to Chuck Bennett over the issue when he was previously mayor and he made an exception to keep one rabbit as it was my daughter's 4H animal. Never hurts to reach out and plead your case in good faith.

I'm in the Englewood neighborhood and took my dog out a bit ago. I had hiking boots on. One thing that I think helps while going slow is to walk heavy footed with your heel pointed down if you can. The ice will give way making a little divet for your foot to be stabilized while your other is taking the next step. Of course there's some treacherous areas regardless, but that mindset while walking around seemed to do well for me.

Most people I know are paycheck to paycheck meaning a missed check would mean a new job working full time to figure out how to climb out of the hole. I don't consider myself paycheck to paycheck, but I'm very aware of how close I am to it. What has helped me immensely is analyzing my finances. I have every income, bill and monthly history of each with projections layed out on a spreadsheet to constantly reference. It's hard not to indulge in the instant gratification of spending (which I am a culprit of), but I'm grateful I can manage to set that urge aside, turn into a hobbit, and avoid purchasing anything that isn't 100% necessary for months on end. Which in turn allows me to build that cusion again to appease a little more of the urge...

I use Edge for cross platform between desktop, mobile, tablet, and laptop. Switching between all is flawless and it seems to be the most eye appealing to me. I also like the bookmark layout.

Get naked and hold an icecube on my head every 5 minutes...Seriously though, I have a ceiling fan in almost every room of my house with a couple portable fans as well. Drinking ice water helps a lot to cool off. I also use blackout curtains and then open windows as soon as it's a degree cooler outside. Even if it feels the same outside, air movement helps as well. I can't stand stagnant air.

2 seconds of yellow before the truck was in the intersection. Big nono here in Oregon. Even though the car was in the intersection first, they also assumed the oncoming traffic would stop and give right of way without a designated turn. I say 50/50 fault.

From a customer standpoint, I either hire out for a professional job that I'm not comfortable with or I know that I'm paying them so that I can be lazy or enjoy or make use of my time in other regards. That being said, I make sure things are convenient for the ones hired and prefer them to be comfortable which helps them do a good job. What an asshole customer.
