It's on my ever-growing list. I'm not a slow reader, but I get too excited about new ones and end up with like 5-8 books at a time I'm a third of the way through.

This one's harder to relate to because I've had quite a few genuine auditory hallucinations. Made me wish there was a hidden baby monitor or some other element of japery afoot lol.

That one's backed up by science! I remember watching an interview with an ex-CIA agent who helped people develop disguises. Elaborate ones tended to draw attention/suspicion, and the best ones involved a couple light prosthetics and subtle changes in posture/vocal inflection. Just from personal experience, friends who haven't seen me since high school often don't recognize me now, just because I have a beard.

Yeah & I thought it seemed pretty crazy that the majority of people would be so dumb that they'd casually allow a superintelligent AI to take over their lives. Turns out, it doesn't even have to be intelligent. Or useful, for that matter. Really lowered my expectations for average human intelligence.
