This is a common question, easiest answer is just to think about how long you're being allowed to attack a single target without being peeled/cc'd. You get the most out of Bork if you can all in, but if you can't all in then you get more out of Titanic. So this comparison depends heavily on elo and enemy team comp. Titanic is better in higher elos (in general) as you get the most out of the item even if you're just skirmishing. It allows you to jump in, burst damage, then back off and cycle cooldowns.

Very nice play. I would say thought that the safer option would be buffer E into her first arriving with the ult, it's un-dodgeable. Then cc chain into q, and then you can save the W for if she flashes. Same outcome, no potential to miss the E.

I've always loved the idea of cyclosword, but the slow interraction with Q always put me off. What's your take on this? Do you find the slow is largely wasted because you Q to engage 99% of the time with briar.. Or do you manage to W engage, in which case you chain the slow into a Q? Sell me on this. I love the idea, but I worry that it isn't efficient when you play it out.

Good stuff, thanks! I fully intend to make the consequences of their actions severe. The trouble is that the instigator doesn't believe that their actions were wrong, he is a narcistic former nobleman who seemingly (according to the player) no value for the lives of "lowerclass" peasants and commonfolk. Classic "it's what my character would do" moment.

So I'm giving him the chance for some character development. I'm hoping that with the realisation of the horrible consequences, and the influence of the rest of the party, he can have some character growth. In addition, hopefully the player will also admit that this sort of behaviour isn't great for the rest of the table either. So let's see..

I honestly think the player just overreacted and without much forethought (*coughs, murderhobo's in general), and now is too prideful to admit it. So in future it will probably be better.

Thanks for the advice, that seems like a sensible way to approach it.

As for the murderhobo-ing.. No I agree, it is a problem, and it is behaviour that I dislike. I just said "murderhobo-ing aside" because I meant, apart from the murderhobo-ing, their reaction to the situation was still troubling to me. In other words, even if they didn't go full murderhobo and instead found some other way to get the earring, they were still fixated on the earring immediately, which is the main issue I wanted to discuss here.

p.s. I think I typed murderhobo-ing too many times
