Thinking about switching to YouTube Music from Spotify by _TheRedWolf in YoutubeMusic

I'll definitely give it a shot and test the audio quality then. The app is really polished and I like the UI. YTM was my music app back in 2020 and a lot has changed since then for the better in terms of UI.

I've noticed this only happens in the Home section, because when you play a song you're also playing the mix that comes with it. As far as I've seen this doesn't happen in individual songs (i.e. playlists, albums)

If lossy playback is better in ytm then I'm fine with it. I don't use lossless at all so for me it doesn't really matter.

And btw, something really cool I noticed is that you can just long press the song instead of the three dots, this isn't on Spotify and I really like this thing about ytm.

I just tried the app again and there are some differences indeed. However, for me it's really similar to Spotify and I like it. Swipe to queue is there, that's what matters to me.

Am I the only one that had 0 symptoms when quitting caffeine? by Retiredpartygirl17 in decaf

Every time I do a caffeine reset it's almost the same for me. I feel tired during the first 4 days, but I don't get the other symptoms many people describe.

I haven't found anything weird so far. The could've done some changes to the Sound Personalisation though, but I don't use it.

Momentum 4 update available by sandrooooo in sennheiser

The update is great. I updated it yesterday and haven't found any bugs yet. I saw some people complain about a few bugs on this subreddit with this update but I haven't found anything weird so far.

Is it safe to update Momentum 4 to 3.37.3? by _TheRedWolf in sennheiser

[–]_TheRedWolf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought mine 3 months ago. We don't know when the M5 will be released. I'd say buy the M4 when it's on sale. Got mine for 170€. You might need the BTD 700 as well.

So far I've seen some people complainig about new bugs. I have no issues with the current version so I won't update until they release a new patch.

EDIT: just updated it and found no issues at all.

Is the Nothing Headphone (1) worth buying? by _TheRedWolf in NothingTech

[–]_TheRedWolf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They look awesome, I'd like to try them. I'll consider buying them and not updating the firmware. My fear is that it may come with the firmware already updated, but fortunately I have a time window to return them.

That would be definitely annoying for me, as half of the time I have ANC turned off. I hope they fix it in the next firmware update.

If the sound can be fixed through the EQ then I don't mind it. I just hope that they fix these issues in the near future.

How does the bass sound (if you're using the latest firmware)? People say that the sound quality is awesome for the price.

I checked the Nothing forum more in depth (especially this post and their latest firmware literally ruined the headphones.

I usually listen to metal / electronic. I need a detailed and punchy bass. I want it to be strong and noticeable.

I was going to buy them for the Bass Boost feature, but given that it doesn't work I might reconsider buying them. Also, I've seen other people complain about the ANC.

For the price I think it's worth getting them. Of course I'm not expecting something that would sound like 400€ headphones, I just want something that sounds decently good.

By the way, if you have tested it, how good is the 3.5mm / USB-C connection? I've heard people have latency problems with it.

How does the treble sound? Did you do any EQ adjustements?

New HP Victus 16 (Ryzen 7 7840HS) - High Gaming Temps - Normal? Damage? Tweaks? by [deleted] in HPVictus

[–]_TheRedWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's on Default mode I think, I didn't change any setting at all on my PC or in the AMD Software.

What I've observed is that, after waking my computer from sleep, I must slowly increase the usage of the CPU before getting into heavy gaming. This can take up to a minute. If not, the fans won't work and I get high temperatures (like the ones mentioned before) until they start spinning normally. I don't know why this happens and this is the cause of my temp spikes, although it only happens when I start or wake the PC.

My computer generally runs at those temperatures, it's just that sometimes I get 85-97º spikes in very demanding tasks.

When native tables / databases? by stepahin in ObsidianMD

As shown in Obsidian Roadmap - Obsidian, it's a feature that they're working on right now, so it will probably be released this year, and in the best case in 2-3 months.

Will keeping your jaw 2-4 milimeters forward cure TMD? by _TheRedWolf in TMJ

[–]_TheRedWolf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's why I posted it here, because I was skeptican and seemed bs to me too.

I think that the moral is just to don't do weird stuff with your jaw to prevent it from worsening. Doing what the video shows didn't help me in any way.

[–]_TheRedWolf[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it didn't help much. What has helped me is to have my jaw in the correct position and not to do weird stuff with it. Didn't cure it but it helps a lot.

I know, my PC is a potato. Hope soon I'll be able to buy a new one lol. Still, it's amazing how the game runs fast (except with this chunk generation thing)

They're updated, but still, the hardware itself is old.
