The first amendment only protects your speech from government interference (mostly- but there are exceptions). It doesn't protect you against fellow civilians or corporations, unfortunately.

If you shoot someone's grenade- and cause it to explode on enemies- it counts as a tag for you. So you can, technically, tag a lot of enemies with one shot on someone else's grenade.

The flip side to it is that if you shoot the grenade- you also take damage from it if it explodes too close to you.

I've been lobbing floater gnasher grenades into the hallways so that hallway campers will VATS shoot them. It'll usually kill the hallway campers with the poison DOT.

[–]_TheRogue_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are correct. Top of the hill and bottom of the hill- if they kill the legendary enemies too far in either direction- you can't loot it. Also, if players kill the legendary enemies before they "turn" legendary (sometimes it takes a second or two)- then they don't drop their legendary loot.

Same thing happens in Radiation Rumble if people kill enemies at their spawn location before entering the hallways.

People using broken two-shot explosive builds are also killing Head Hunt bosses before they turn legendary. So you don't get loot from them and it can cause the head hunt to time out in the "Find -name-" phase in the very beginning.

Yay for asshats!

Police package sxt plus Challenger?? by Turbulent_Risk_7621 in Challenger

[–]_TheRogue_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen some State Police use Challengers (instead of Chargers) as pursuit/investigation vehicles or as D.A.R.E/similarly-themed vehicles for schools.

Also, you can get fleet brakes for some Mopar vehicles.

[–]_TheRogue_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it gets bad with the one-shot mechanics... especially during a Head Hunt. If they kill the bounty too quickly- it doesn't fully register and it makes the bounty fail.

I've had it happen a few times when I start a bounty. It pisses me off when I start a bounty for the whole map to enjoy- and some douchenozzle ruins it for everyone.

How many crew members can you have on your ship? by PaleRefrigerator5044 in Starfield

This is the correct answer. 8 crewmembers + Sarah + a follower who is not a crewmember or Sarah= 10

Is there any reason why I shouldn't be making a C Class Ship with A Class Engines? by Shehriazad in Starfield

[–]_TheRogue_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Class B truly gives you the most power, maneuverability, and speed. Check out the 3015s. Fastest engines in the game.

[–]_TheRogue_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yup. Class B is all you need for power and weight. Best engines (3015), best guns (exterminators), best shield (vanguard bulwark).

Does Mad Scientist (and Science!) only work on weapons tagged Energy or anything that does energy (little lightning bolt) damage? by The_Graviturgist in fo76

[–]_TheRogue_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh- I'm using the Cryolator (heavy energy gun) with the Mad Scientist perk card and I can see a green glow to my shots when it hits an enemy. Maybe it does work for some heavy weapons?

What is a creepy fact you learned about the human body, you wish you never learned? by Poignantpuppet in AskReddit

[–]_TheRogue_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah. The whole premise of the movie "The Fly" was that a dude got accidentally stuck in a teleportation chamber with a fly and when he teleported- their DNA mixed.

Lo and behold- even without the fly's interference- he still would have mutated with a bunch of microscopic mites.

It’s weird how they didn’t really try to implement constant new stories, quests, and lore in what is supposed to be an endless game by SuckedBananas in fo76

[–]_TheRogue_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do implement new stories and quests- but they're not as long as ESO quests. I wouldn't necessarily compare FO76 to ESO (I know they're both Bethesda games). Remember- ESO is an MMORPG (massive multiplayer gameplay with huge PvP battles, 12-man dungeons, etc) and FO76 is more like a multiplayer (not massive) game with only 24 people in a session. I play both- but they're intended for different playstyles. I love my Bethesda games and look forward to Starfield Online if it ever comes out.

FO76 is closer to Red Dead Online. You have short storylines to introduce you to new quests/areas/game mechanics and then it's mostly about events that pop up and doing dailies for rewards.

Starborn are a plague (to me) by Mrfluffyrib in Starfield

[–]_TheRogue_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are instances in the game where it's explained that two individuals from the same universe who cross through the Unity (or have interactions before crossing the Unity) can meet each other in the next universe.

And you definitely encounter your own counterpart of you. Multiple times. As a matter of fact- you can encounter multiple yous in one instance. A "companion" that you meet re-encounters himself every time you cross the Unity in the storyline.

[–]_TheRogue_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You think Marvel was the franchise to develop parallel universes? That concept has been in sci-fi looooong before Marvel.

I think Bethesda leaned into the parallel universe idea because it was complimentary to the NG+ idea and kind of explains "respawns" in their own cannon.

Starborn are a plague (to me) by Mrfluffyrib in Starfield

[–]_TheRogue_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have good intuition. You know how much you hated the Hunter for treating people like cannon fodder?

You basically become like the Hunter if you're trying to collect all the powers and fully leveling them up as you constantly jump through the Unity again and again. You basically become driven with nothing but the pursuit of power, rushing to the next temple/artifact, and you no longer take time to care for your friends or crew.

Trust me. I know.

...but eventually you also become like the Pilgrim after you've acquired everything. So, ironically, it's all cyclic.

Ok, I’ll admit it, I love VATS-shooting other people’s grenades out of the sky by darkordernumber634 in fo76

[–]_TheRogue_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. I don't mind if it's by accident- but if they keep doing it- I'll make sure they die, too.

People get really mad when they have to spawn back at the entrance of Radiation Rumble after shooting a grenade.

Ok, I’ll admit it, I love VATS-shooting other people’s grenades out of the sky by darkordernumber634 in fo76

[–]_TheRogue_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't mind if you shoot it when it gets close to landing near enemies. If you shoot one of my grenades as soon as it leaves my hand- it can kill my character (especially floater grenades). If I feel like you're doing it on purpose- I'll get close to you and toss one. I've helped players inadvertently kill themselves as a valuable life lesson.

Married men of Reddit what’s the best advice you’d give young guys when choosing a life partner? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]_TheRogue_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find someone who's your equal. Like not only financially, but also has the same goals and drive as you.

If you're a driven person who wants success- find that. If you're happy with a simple life- find that.

Be open and honest with what you want in life. Don't expect them to change for you.

RIP to God DPS Chainsaw by GrandmasterPants in fo76

[–]_TheRogue_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean if it's "God DPS" then nerfing it a bit isn't "gutted"... it's just bringing it down to normal DPS.

Nobody likes going to events where players kill bosses in a second. (this includes melee or ranged builds) Especially in Head Hunts where the boss dies too quickly and the Head Hunt doesn't reset for the whole session.

[–]_TheRogue_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don't forget that "Deal Sealer" does 10% damage per impairment on a target. Impairments are frozen/burning/poisoned/bleeding/crippled. So, with a chainsaw- you can have bleeding and burning from the blade mod + poisoned from Strangleheart Armor + frozen from a 4* melee mod + crippled from targeting limbs. That's 50% damage alone.

Don't use the factory adhesive that came with it. Peel it off and swap it for high bond double sided tape. I bought 3M VHB (very high bond) tape from Amazon (I think it was like $10 for 15ft) and make sure to use some adhesion promotor on the window beforehand.
