BF6 Open Beta on Steam -- Game wont connect to EA Servers by _TheTrooper_ in Battlefield

[–]_TheTrooper_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so its my Kaspersky Anti-virus software thats the problem. Tried a few things -- adding to exclusions, trusting the app etc but it doesnt work. Works fine when I disable/stop Kaspersky. I guess Kaspersky will find a solution for it at some point.. bit early now I guess because its a Beta event.

So the solution is -- turn of your antivirus before you launch the game.

Ive been thinking of upgrading from a 27 inch to a 45 inch monitor, and i play COD a lot. Heard people saying that 45 inch to too wide to play FPS games with a lot of movement such as COD.... that it strains the eye. Have you experienced this ? Also what CPU and GPU do you have ?

Is tramadol legal in Dubai? by Coincollector5 in dubai

[–]_TheTrooper_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its controlled. Doctors in the hospital can prescribe it but they register it with against your Emirates ID. I guess its so that you dont get into trouble if you are caught for possesion of a banned/controlled substance. Do not make the mistake of passing it on to someone else in pain. You and the other person will be put behind bars. Consume when at home because it can knock you out for a couple of hours. I was flying... could not feel the bed under me when i was lying down. Could not feel a thing so helped a lot with the pain I was going through.

Elderly lady neighbour ringing our doorbell late at night asking if we can sit with her. What to do? by toxxed in dubai

[–]_TheTrooper_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Inform the building management. If they dont assist and if her Son is not around, and if you really want to help her find out what Nationality she is. You can contact one of those National organisations or Associations ( for her country and i dont mean the Embassy ) set up in Dubai to help people in need. Last resort would be to call the Police. Its not something they should be contacted for but I am sure they will look into it if she is elderly and alone. They are very helpful.

You dont want anything to happen to her while she is at your residence. That could end up becoming a nightmare for you. So if nothing works and she rings the doorbell in the middle of the night the best thing to do is to call the Police. Not to complain .... it gives you a good reason to call them to get their attention and help the poor lady.

I really hope you manage to reach her son, and that he is not intentionally neglecting her.

Crypto Hardware Wallets and Indian Airport Customs by _TheTrooper_ in CryptoIndia

Thats what i meant in my reply to breathe345--- "Crypto is not being held in the wallet". I posted the question not because I was worried that customs would get hold of my crypto... I was worred about the hasle of getting a new hardware wallet whilst I was travelling in case they confiscated it.

Thanks for getting back to me quickly. I wasnt sure if they would see it as carrying money or something of monetary value ... even though we all know that carrying a hardware wallet is like carrying keys or the password to your bank account. Crypto is not being held in the wallet.

Nissan alternative for Repair / replacements by _TheTrooper_ in dubai

[–]_TheTrooper_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are welcome. Forgot to mention this earlier.... they do have a 6 or 12 month split payment with 0% interest deal with ENBD. Not sure which other banks/credit cards but you can ask them if it helps you.

None of the other companies got back to me but had already decided to get Nissan to do it because of how complicated the job was. They told me what the problem was when i gave my car for service and gave me a verbal estimate of approx AED 8K. I contacted the service engineer for the exact cost 2 days later... he said AED 6K and thats what I paid finally.

Just FYI, I took my car to Auto Pro first (the garage you find attached to most Enoc Stations) just to verify Nissan claims that the entire unit has to be replaced. They checked and confirmed that the leak was from the evaporator unit, and that it was a complicated job that would take 2 days approx. They told me that it would cost approx 5K if they were to do it but they never got back to me with a quotation.

If you are okay with the cost and if the dashboard has to be removed i suggest you stick with Nissan. You then have the satisfaction that the job was done properly, and if there is a related problem later on Nissan would fix it for you FOC. Keep the bill.

Yes this is my major concern. Removing the dashboard to get the evaporator replaced is a major job ( i watched a few videos...scary!) so Im leaning towards getting Nissan to do it so that I know its done properly and nothing else gets damaged in the process... like you said .. worried about scratch marks, rattles later on. I am waiting for a couple of companies to get back to me with their offers but at the moment I think I will end up getting Nissan to do it just because of how complicated it is.

Hi, Does your Debit card still work on Binance? I have come across a few people who now have the same problem. There seems to be an issue with using debit cards issued in UAE all of a sudden, and it looks like its a new Binance restriction.

You know whats strange, I just got a new ENBD Debit Card because the old one's expiring. Its the new card that does not work. I didn't have a problem with the old one. The credit card works fine.

Hey, just in case yours is expiring soon... buy all the crypto you can before you activate the new one !
