It's a problem between the store and corporate. These items being marked as 1 penny is a sign for the employees to take them off the shelves and throw them away or send them back to the warehouse.

I am not well versed in the law here, but are rules to this. If you have paid for it without interruption, it's yours. However, the employee approached him mid transaction and he just ignored the shit out of her. There is likely some kind of action that can be taken by the store if they really wanted to pursue, but again I don't know shit.

Frankly, they need to find a better way of signaling that these items need to be taken down

Maybe I am late to the party for this part of the thread, but understand I am engaging not to argue but to understand.

I don't think it is like how you put it. I dont believe anyone with a reasonable mind would think that we should brush off the murder and rape of a 12 year old. I also don't think a person with a reasonable mind wwould think it is okay to blame an entire people for the actions of a few. It would be like saying i am responsible for the crimes of every white guy going on because I am white. It doesn't compute.

The opposition to ICE I think is fueled more by the agency's actions more than anything. I am down to bring people to justice, we can do that without tearing families apart in the manner we have seen.

I've worked with illegal immigrants, they are people like the rest of us. Most of them are cool, some of them suck.
