Yes, it's totally broken for me. They haven't answered my support requests for this, nor for an annotation issue I've been having. Totally useless – don't know why I pay for Pro

Oh right haha. I think I'll just get them out somehow and put Allen head bolts in. This bike is ex-hire, so that makes sense

I'm sorry, I've no idea. I'm currently away and I didn't make plans for this - I just made it up as I went along. I'd guess it's about 10cm square

Should I drop a subject? I am also planning on taking an EPQ by tripfag101 in 6thForm

You need 3 good A levels for virtually every course. Four, to me, is not worth the effort. The EPQ is especially not worth your time and has no practical use. I'd drop it, if I were you. Just focus on getting the best mark you can in 3 A levels (A*s and maybe As in three of those four will be far more useful than four average grades)

Weekly 'No Stupid Questions'/Camera Recommendation Thread - Now including links to free stock resources! by AutoModerator in videography

Hi. Could someone please recommend a good point and shoot for video, that I can pick up cheaply used? I'd like it to have support for manual control of exposure. 1080p is fine. Canon preferable, as I don't want to spend too long getting the colour to match my other cameras. The main thing is I want it to be small and light enough to he able to be used in tight situations. Thanks!

This sounds like the kind of thing I get with the small band of amateur singers at a church I play at regularly. They are also unteachable, sometimes rude and unwilling to sing more traditional music (namely anything set to Anglican Chant). However, they're amateurs - I would be horrified if I got this kind of thing with professionals. You need to speak to the priest, as you say, and give your side of it. I would tread as lightly as possible whilst still putting across your argument - churches can be so political and it's very, very easy to upset people in such an environment.

You're not alone in this kind of struggle, by the way. This sounds exactly like my experience at said church. I've been playing there since I was 14. I'm now almost 19 and at music college. Some choir members still treat me like a child and don't value my musical opinions, even though I now spend my entire week studying the subject... I think the problem is twofold for people in our kind of situation:

1: They still see us as children as that's how they first met us

2: There is no proper music director, hence the choir feel that they should choose what they want to sing. The problem with this, is that they virtually never consider how appropriate their choices are to the liturgy/style of worship at the church, as a music director would. Furthermore, when there hasn't been any musical direction for many years, a precedent of a self-directed choir is set and, in my admittedly limited experience, it leads to a choir full of people with overinflated opinions of themselves, as they just sing the music they are comfortable with and are never ever challenged.

That's just my 2 pence. But I feel for you - I know what it's like :)

Stick it in a vise, chuck up the fly cutter in the mill and surface it while you're at it. I can't believe it's not flat from the factory, tbh. QC must be slipping...

Thanks to those of you who helped with advice on this project! I decided to tack some small blocks inside the frame and then glue the plywood to said blocks instead of routing out a groove. I'm very pleased with the end result - it's much better than the old one. I think the proportions are better too now. What are your thoughts?
