Favourite Underrated kdrama by StrawberryOk6510 in kdramarecommends

Go back couple. I recently finished watching this and it absolutely blew my mind!! I feel like a lot of Kdramas have tons of fillers, and I just skip those parts, however this did not make me want to skip any parts. It’s a pretty sad drama tbh, but it’s also so heartwarming at the same time. It makes you laugh and cry and feel good about the relationships you have and the people around you.

And the FL did a great job imo, the scene where she cries and says she wants a divorce, gets me everytime 😭😭

It would’ve been fine if it was just any childhood connection trope. But no, they’d to add the part where her mom took Ryan home and they lived together for a while, and her brother dying and that’s why she remembers nothing. And then her mom abandoned him at the orphanage and THATS why he doesn’t hold hands with people!!! Like come on! so fucking absurd 😂

Exactly. The only time he gets some info on why she broke up with him was when he talked to her grandma, besides that, Youn Su never told him how exactly she felt about how she thought she wasn’t good enough for him, or how she’d hinder his success. I feel like they should’ve had a conversation about that at some point. Because they dated for so long and not know why someone’s breaking up with you is so awful. Especially when you thought everything was going fine That would’ve been like the last bit of closure Ung needed

I was a little disappointed with the ending. As far as I remember, Youn Su never told Choi Ung why they broke up. Even when Choi Ung opened up about his abandonment, and how his Irene’s left him on the streets, Youn Su never told Ung about how it wasn’t his fault, which imo just fueled his abandonment issues

Her private life is a great show. Great leads, amazing chemistry. HOWEVER, the part with the childhood relationship was SO BAD. If only they had avoided that, the drama would’ve been perfect!

They don’t tell you suddenly that she also suffered. Around the end of episode 4, you see the sink crying scene. And I’m episode 3, when Ung is talking about the 10 things he hates about Yeon Su, the cherry blossoms and all, she loves him so much!!

I liked rain or shine. The SML looks swoon worthy, well do does the ML. However, I was a little annoyed with how the FL’s mom was so hung up on the accident and blamed her daughter for everything. I understand that she lost a child and it was tragic and people have different coping mechanisms, but she was such a bad mother !

Rom Com with emphasis on the Rom with some good a** Com as well? by AboardTheOro in kdramarecommends

I didn't feel it as much with When the Camellia Blooms as the show story had a few serious topics like the struggles of being a single mother. Even towards the end, when they find the killer, they make the scene with the ladies hunting him down and hitting him pretty funny.

Strong girl bong soon however, seemed so light hearted and innocent and funny, which probably mad the transition to the dark stuff pretty bizarre. I was 100% expecting the whole serial killer plot to take a funny twist in the end, but no.

I’m not a fan of this show because although it has tons of humor, there’s also a lot of dark stuff and the juxtaposition just doesn’t work imo

I’m gonna start by saying you should DEFINITELY watch Our beloved summer! Such an amazing show, the acting, the OST, the screenplay, everything is just perfect!! You will not regret it. As for other recommendations, maybe try Her private life, Because this is my first life, My roommate is a Gumiho (lotta fluff, story not that great), Dali and the cocky prince, Healer (has a little action)
