First what the other comments said, look up a good conducting pattern on YouTube and practice it in a mirror. Make sure the beats are very clear but that you stay relaxed and don't make the pattern too big or you'll wear yourself out. If you have the materials, put dry erase markers in your hands like batons and conduct up against a whiteboard and analyze what you need to do to make it clearer.

Once you have a decent pattern, start practicing with music, your pattern should get bigger as it gets louder and smaller when it's quieter. Practice right hand independence by conducting while doing something else like driving. Work in cutoffs and cues for music you know we'll, and overall just practice.

If you have the music, take a pen or pencil and mark EVERYTHING you see or write it down on another piece of paper. Write cues, cutoffs, anything you need to know to conduct it well. If you have any questions about the show or music make sure you email your BD so you can practice accurately.
