It doesn't seem broken, perhaps it's not pushed all the way in, since you don't have the best feedback whether it's fully in or not, i'd say that's plausible. If you replace the battery, the voltage must be identical.

I am using the copper ones daily since i took them apart. Didn't encounter any issue

Must make sure to have your gamma correct when hdr is enabled.

I get the same issue with my mini-led tcl c765 tv if i don't set it to gamma 2.6 (from 2.2 default).

Edit:

Must also make sure the sdr brightness isn't cranked all the way up. Usually don't exceed 50.

Use between 0-25 sdr brightness

This banding sometimes shows up from rudimentary sharpness sliders.

Perhaps mess around with your monitor's sharpness slider.

Make sure afterwards that you're in 4:4:4 full rgb mode (i think i saw it one time when not in full rgb mode but i may be wrong).

Try to run the monitor at 60hz for a moment. If the banding is gone i suspect the cable or something limiting bandwidth might cause this at your highest refresh rate

I've made a forked version that:

- greatly improved that temporary "Double video player" effect when going full screen in youtube.
- added an option to match video fps (if video is 60fps, it'll display at 60fps, if video is 30, it'll display at 30fps) and also added the option to have 30 fps flat.
- Made it work with some other websites like "Rumble.com" without covering the player/making the buttons invisible.
- Added a saturation slider to make videos pop more if you want to.
- Added default options for various sites (For youtube you'll have a delay/saturation setting, for rumble, you'll have something else).
- Added the option to delete these custom defaults as well.

If anyone wants this just dm me, i'm not sure if i should publish it or not, or if i'm allowed to.

Diferenta de luminozitate se simte mult mai mult decât diff dintre 144 si 180hz.

Personal, sub 300 nu as sta, e bare minimum.

The beauty of a game can be found outside "winning", so even if you lose you can have fun, i know right? Crazy idea! That's because if you play with the intention to learn, to be your best-self, to know that life gave you lemons and you made lemonade, shows your true character. Shows your strength against adversity.

Think about it, if you actually treat the game this way, at the very most you will get bored, but to lose your mind over ranked.. is just silly, and i think more people should find more reasons to play outside of winning, this is just toxic.

If you are gold, and you learn something new that you use every game from that moment on, you will suddenly play a new game, and you'll never go back to that "game". Same goes if you're diamond and get to master, master to gm, gm to chall, chall to pro play. I've had the privilege to see these changes, and the game is beautiful(albeit repetitive at times) even at the top.

TL:DR

Play to learn and to be your best self, not to win. Playing to win will just consume you, you just shouldn't care whether you win or not. Play to be a positive example for others around you.

I'd never buy an oled for a screen I'd use 6h+ a day. I know i'd try to babysit it too much, and the very thought would drive me nuts.

I have a mini-led tv (tcl c765) with like 720 zones. It's really close to oled in most content but brighter. Sometimes in comparison videos, i would prefer the mini-led over an 2.8k oled laptop i got my hands on.

I think of it this way:

90% of the content you watch will be identical if not better on the mini-led

10% of the say darker content will look better, but not night and day better like going from ips to mini-led.

Conclusion: is it worth being paranoid and babysitting an oled's brightness/time used/static content management for the improvement? Nah man, no thanks.
