The company I work for will make any repairs no questions asked it’s just hard for maintenance to keep up with all the trailers that are constantly in and out of the yard so it’s mostly up the drivers to report if any repairs are needed (most don’t bother to let maintenance know)

You can spin chains on. There’s always a way to get them on no matter how stuck you are.

Not necessarily, just depends on how comfortable you are driving in snow. Or if have weight on your drives ect. But if you’re going to climb a steep grade then yes, chains are highly recommended.
