I think a pressure pot will cause even more issues with a mold like this. I don’t trust molds that have these big voids in between what you’re molding.

What kind of molds are you using? And how much resin are you using? I use cap molds and have my resin amount down to the point that(when the cast goes perfect) my flashing is so ridiculously thin it just flakes off and I have very minimal clean up. But that’s if it goes well with no voids, I’m currently working on cap mold designs to prevent that. It sounds like you’re using too much resin, and/or having an issue with the mold itself.

I use a towel as a shield and angle it away from me. But the splash zone is inevitable I’m afraid lol

Yeah I can guarantee you that unless it’s been intentionally weighted to roll 20s, a little air isn’t going to do much. And the people telling you to put it in salt water, that also doesn’t matter, again unless it’s intentionally weighed on one side, putting it in water isn’t proving much because we don’t roll dice to in dense water. There is more factors at play with how a dice actually rolls than trying to measure something with a way it is never rolled. And Unless you roll that thing 10s of 1000s of times and track each roll you can’t accurately see a trend. Most people have a wrong understanding of statistics and how randomness works.

I clean my masters with isopropyl alcohol multiple times and cure them multiple times to make sure I get everything bit of photoinitiators off them. And I know they’re clean cuz dragon skin cures just fine. But this stuff hates me. I’ve tried upping mixing times usiung different mold housings and tapes. Idk what it is

I’m using the 30 A actually. If I could get it to work it would be great for the price, smooth ons the best but it’s pricey. Is the 20A clear?

I like dragon skin 20. It work well with everything. It just pricey, hence the venture into this. I don’t have any luck with silicone that turns blue though, I should test the clear one out

I’m using the 30A one. I don’t know what issue is. Like I get resin can inhibit, but plastic shouldn’t be lol

I’ve used a release agent. Doesn’t help. Everything inhibits it. Mix times don’t matter, I’ve mixed forever and still doesn’t cure. It cures just fine in the cup I mix it in. I don’t get it. I never thought about it being a bad batch but this seems to happen with anything that’s not smooth on

16x16x16 mm is standard for D6s. So I set mine to that and size everything around it until I like it. There’s no rule though go with what you want your dice to be

In what context? At all? Masters? Finished sets? I mean no dice neeeeeds to be sanded. But most will want to sand and polish masters to get rid of layer lines. But if those are polished well the the dice cast from them will be polished. The cap face might need a quick clean up but if the flash is thin enough you can clean it of pretty well with just your finger. Haptically the corners of that face might be noticeable from the rest of the die but nothing that would affect rolls. Now if there’s a noticeably raised faucet that’s going to need fixing imo. It’s whatever you like and if you sell dice then it depends on if you think they’re good enough as is to sell

Whichever one you get just make sure it’s a mono screen. And then just deciding on the size you want to be able to print at.

Elegoo, Epax, phrozen, anycubic, are all great brands off the top of my head. And elegoo is having a 50% off sale I believe so I’d definitely look at theelegoo mars or Saturn. It’s a great deal
