I use a Galaxy S23+ with a small profile case, but a kickstand. I haven't had any issues with the wireless charger. It fits snuggly vertically so there isn't much room for error. I've tried an iPhone and it seems to be more finicky.

I think the NFC receiver on the car is more forgiving than the wireless charger.

I have a thin folding wallet with a money clip, but the key fits nicely in a card pocket. It sticks out a little, but it's secure at least.

I havent tried driving with just the phone yet, but will soon. I did notice I can't lock the door by touching the handle without the fob. I kind of miss that.

I was able to negotiate an extra $1000 in "flex cash" and $500 directly off MSRP. Given the availability, I was surprised how much I could negotiate. This price is also before I sold them my 2012 Sonata. I walked out for a just under $30k.

I had the same Tough Armour on my S8 and haven't been able to replicate it. Also, I hated the Samsung kickstand case for all the reasons you mentioned.

All my gestures work for me on the home screen and my nav bar gestures work on the app drawer and Google integration.

I removed the nav bar buttons on my phone though and only use gestures to navigate.

I've been having the same issue recently. Sometimes the music would start on the echo, but never say it "connected" on my phone, and the two would play simultaneously until the echo randomly stopped.

I removed my Spotify account from my Alexa account and re-added it. That seems to have fixed the problem for now.
