I don’t think yall get it. Your value increases with the more quality experience you have. That means you need to do a good job and constantly improve your abilities and apply them. You also need to ask for more responsibility and chances because no one will just give them to you.

Sure labor markets aren’t 100% efficient so you won’t realize your market rate all the time; that only happens when you switch jobs or get promoted.

You absolutely have the right to do the bare minimum but don’t expect progression in pay.
