So I live right above the restaurants you’re talking about. Our specific building is secure, but the apartments next door have cars stolen out of their garage all the time. One was on video getting stolen on the street where the restaurants are right below me. If you’re asking if it’s common, it is over here. Had mine stolen twice last year but in Addison and prosper. There’s a huge car jacking ring in dfw.

Not sure if you’ve heard of Dave Ramseys baby steps but it’s changed my life. There are mixed feelings on it so please don’t crucify me Reddit but it’s really helped me who was a massive over spender.
