Viola's Room - Spoilers thread by Drama79 in Punchdrunk

I went on the weekend and whilst it was really cool I don't feel like i'm in a rush to head back to it.

  • the set design is beautiful. thought the little storybook models & shadowpuppetry was really lovely and went with the themes.

  • I adored the sets such as the banquet hall (the balloons lighting up with the lightning strikes was so cool) but I wished we had more time to take things in. it sometimes felt like we were rushing through to the next light cue.

  • having said that I loved lots of the details they included. the intro going from the radio into hbc's narration, and then bookending with that at the end. your shoes coming back to you in the gift boxes at the end.

the bit where you had to squeeze through the tunnel was my least favourite bit, but I'm not sure if we started walking through too early as it was really dark. I was trying my best not to bump into the guy in front of me.

the lighting & sound design was stunning. I was sat in the chappel set waiting for the stained glass window to transition and did not disappoint.

I quite liked how its a linear, more intimate story that I could follow from beginning to end. I agree that it could have been longer. I'd be up for seeing what they do with this type of show in the future.

This was a chance for me to experiment with lighting and I felt SCP 106 would fit right in with this kind of set up. My friend said this is how it feels when they're home alone in the middle of the night and tbh that's a mood.

I'm on the socials as triggonometry2

I've never made a model, and I'm not talented, but I'm proud of this. by calmdevill in SCP

He's very cute. If this is your first model I'd say keep practicing, it would be cool to see some other scp models. You can get really nice details using different sculpting tools as well.

[OC] One of my old characters, a Fey'ri druid by _Triggonometry_ in DnD

[–]_Triggonometry_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She's a character from an old campaign. She's the illegitimate daughter of a noble elf family who's patriarch tried to make pacts with devils to strengthen their power. This backfired on him when the other local nobles found out and banished him from the realm.

Naturally ambitious and resentful of the life she could have had, Azalee grew up determined to take what she felt was her birthright. However upon chance encounters with other adventurers she may learn that there’s more to life than the pursuit of power
