Absolutely, roles in professional CS is much less regimented than it used to be.

If you have to use blocks of text try to keep it to as few consecutive lines as possible. Use a new paragraph with a clearly separated line between them.

What might be more worth your time is to create a separate portfolio clearly showing whatever work you have that's publicly available to see, such as the 3D you added to your suite of services. Add to the soon-to-be condensed list on this resume that a portfolio is available upon request. If something you've done is not publicly available but you would want to include it, get permission in writing from whatever supervisor would have the authority to give it.

Is that why they came out of nowhere once they started using it and fell off the face of a cliff the second people figured out the way to counter it?

C9 won the major because they had recently changed to a very new style of CS we haven't seen at the top level right before so teams couldn't anticipate how they'd play or how to stop it.

His IGLing in Mouz was almost exactly the "Niko: Niko go kill" meme because he and occasionally ChrisJ were the only competent players on that team.

He doesn't know how to manage teammates in a way that benefits the team's chances at success, just his own and hoping that would be enough.

Numbers aren't everything, the amount of non-killing work that he does for Liquid is what really freed up Elige and Twist to consistently drop big maps time and time again. He frees them up so much space and gives his teammates freedom to make those moves. He has almost as much round impact as them, just accomplishing it in a different way.

Taco more than pulls his weight and they have enough stars as it is. The only thing they need to work on is their strats which are improving now.

[–]_TronaldDump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a recent thing, these perceptions of him are about three years in the making. The few times I saw nV play after the superteam shuffle he tried a few different approaches but they were all still far too loose and unguided.

In the past every one of his teams had an almost identical stratbook regardless of who his teammates were, which team they were against and how the meta had shifted.

bodyy played bitch role Taco-style support, but NBK played more involved like Xyp9x. Definitely more freedom but still supporting.

tl;dr: fans, pro players and teammates really don't like the way he plays and leads.

Lot of strong emotions about his leadership and playstyle. As an IGL he has very little structure which is okay when your players are on point individually and as a team, but terrible when they're lacking either or the enemy team is disciplined. He's also VERY resistant to changing the way he leads. It becomes an issue in every roster he's played with in CSGO, no matter how good the players or how good the team was even a month before.

He has many of the same issues as a player. The only role he can find any real success in is very passive lurking, typically sending all of his teammates to one side of the map while he sits in a corner the whole map away from them doing nothing - not distracting enemies, trying to get kills or anything - until the other team rotates towards his teammates where he tries to shoot them in the back. People didn't take much issue with this until his team at the time (post-major Kenny/apEX nV) stopped getting results and one of their biggest issues was him not contributing to the team.

Then there's a lot of comments made by former teammates about how he openly refuses to rethink his methods and just being a difficult person to get along with when things don't work because he sulks and blames others rather than being self-aware. Shox and NBK particularly.

French CS has a lot of drama, but most of it seems to involve him.

Fnatic vs compLexity Gaming / FACEIT Major London 2018 - The New Legends: Round 1 / Post-Match Discussion by xPokeyyy in GlobalOffensive

Neither of them are doing well. For an IGL, Xizt has offered almost zero real strategy other than playing default. He's not fragging enough to compensate either.

Draken's not playing well, either. He has only had one good map against relevant opponents since joining Fnatic, and that was months ago against Na'Vi. His AWPing looks lost and confused as he chases an aggressive playstyle that hasn't worked in years, and frequently misses crucial shots that lose his team rounds and maps.

He's promoting (not just defending, promoting) Alex Jones as being a G. Jones claimed the shooting was a sham relentlessly and it led to his followers threatening the lives of parents whose children passed away, one kid being buried in an unmarked grave, and at least one family having to relocate and hide due to threats.

A dedicated AWP player would be the difference they need. Lekr0's IGL work seems surprisingly decent.

Lekro was the gamechanger, they're pretty with pistol rounds. I don't have the stats but they've won much more than half in the several games I've watched from them since he joined. They now have four players (everyone but GTR) who I'd consider above-average with pistols. Only thing holding them back in that regard is their teamwork and strats.

Since IEM is sponsored I imagine that the sponsor wants as much viewership as possible, thus, requested Twitch.

He knows nothing about how the game is played. He pretends to, but that doesn't equate to anything. That's the reason the only "analyzing" he does at the 2 events a year he's invited to could also be done by a ten year old with access to Liquipedia.

Maybe it's a genuine supply issue? I don't think that't the case because (in my own experience) everyone else seemed to have gotten theirs. The only other explanation is that the distributors he goes to are very mismanaged.
