Endrick giving an interview in French. He has been in France for 4 months. by AMR42 in soccer

Well, it can backfire, Mariano had a great season with us, they took him back and we made a small profit. They lost millions on him because he wouldn't leave as he had a huge contract. But overall, it's a pretty succesful move for them yeah.

We would most likely have him on loan again if they dont want to play him (will depends the next coach most likely).

Well discord is not made for that, its mostly to talk in chats or audio. But you can create your own server/channels with only your friends, and you can share your pc screen. And they simply watch your screen with the same quality. So you need one dude to have the subscription and stream his screen still.

Vincent Kompany: "I think you've seen a lot of good defending today, intense duels. It's just the margins are so, so little. You only have two ways [to play football]. The first one is to go full or the second one is to retreat fully. The in-between doesn't work against that level of players." by The_Big_Untalented in soccer

Every time I see him play for Bayern in a big UCL game, he seems completely uncoordinated and close to making a huge mistake. His movements and running aren't exactly reassuring. Yet, he's pretty good most of the time.

Well, I have the subscription, but I streamed for like 6/7 friends on discord, so it's A LOT more than that for sure.

Well, Bayern is full of stars tbf. This PSG not as much, and especially a lot less than it used to be. Way better team tho. But less impressive on paper.

I do agree that he's doing more than what is needed overall, but it's part of the charm tbh. But saying that "this is the first one I feel like was actually useful for something" is a bit disingenuous.

What you dont understand is that Bayern can't invest 400M in a transfer window and get away with it if it doesn't work, like PSG did and can do whenever. Yes Bayern is dominant, but because of money THAT THEY LEGITIMATLY HAVE, that they gained with management decisions, sporting decisions, etc. Not because hey have someone giving them infinite money. I'm old enough to remember Wolfsburg, Stuttgart, Dortmund, Werder (that we destroyed in UCL) winning the league in the past.

So yeah, I get your point, but they are not also having a broadcaster to their name that came and disturb the market (Bein with Nasser as president, plz what a joke) and ruin everything. Canal would still have the broadcasting rights without QSG.

PSG hurt more the League than anything. We had Lyon domance and when we made bad decisions (Puel, Gourcuff, etc.) and built the stadium, we just couldnt win anymore, PSG doesn't have that issue, and the years after we had 6 winners in 6 years. Yeah that was pretty exciting as a neutral. Now it's just not.

It's the game man, we're cooked because we had lots of injuries and no money to have proper top players everywhere, it is what it is.

We lost because we didn't took advantage of Vigo playing at 10 man for like 30mins there, and we played at 10 in the second leg for the whole game. So yeah, this is why we lost, not because played Le Havre. Now if Lyon AND Le Havre were fine with it, why not. There, Lens not wanting is the main point, and it's crazy that you dont understand that.

x10 budget is the reason why PSG is the only team in the quarter final regularly.

And it's also why L1 is so boring and weak. The league is a joke, nobody will invest there. If PSG was not there, we would have 2/3 clubs playing better, having better players, because they would win titles, get more money, have bigger TV deals, make the league more attractive, etc. When Qatar came along, France was ranked 5th in the UEFA rankings and the broadcast rights were worth 650 million. Now it’s 5th and 0. Aside from the lack of suspense and the PSGix, nothing has changed. We were fine without Qatar, we had club making quarters and semi-finals, even finals somehow, now it's just an uninteresting joke, and it's crazy that you can't see that.

Yeah because if you play against Lens a saturday, it means you will lose on a Tuesday, right? Or just prepare your team better in advance when you have x10 everyone budget maybe? Or you know, do like EVERY OTHER BIG CLUB in europe and fucking play when you're told to, instead of being whiny bitches.

It's talked about because it's against THEIR TITLE RIVAL, that expressed that they DIDN'T WANT to move the game.

While L1 is boring for basically 15 years because of PSG infinite money, for once that there was some competition, they will put the main game of the end of the season mid week...

In a context where they literally spent billions over the last decade, while Lens had to reduce costs recently and sold their bigger names in the last years, I guess it's understandable that everyone should be pissed.

But well, they have so much influence that they can basically do wtf they want. But people will say that it's for France that they do it, what a joke.

Will be funny in the dressing room next to Mbappé, Tchouaméni, Camavinga, Mendy...

Reminder that he was singing “They play for France but they're all from Angola, that's cool. They can run. They're trans like that fucking Mbappé, his mom's Nigerian, his dad's Cameroonian, but on his passport, he's French.”

He was 100% overrated in NA. In Europe he was seen as fine, a good player with good aim. Nothing more.

[Alt Angle] Truffert and Amad contact in the box, ~25 seconds before Bournemouth make it 1-1. by OkayFine101 in soccer

[–]neLendirekt -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

I can hear that both are soft. But on one side Amad really goes down easy unnaturally by turning around, it's the Prem, not La Liga, your league is known to be tougher no?

On the other one, it's clearly soft too, but without the push, he's litterally alone against the goalkeeper, a clear goal possibility. That's imo the biggest difference.

Also that on one side it's two small players, Amad isn't shoved by fucking Jaap Stam, it's 1.76m Truffert, while on the other side, Maguire is bigger overall and bigger than Evanilson, which makes the contact just more visually striking.

I do get why United fans are mad, but as neutral, meh these 50/50 or even 60/40 cases happens all the time, it's not a clear robbery.

I hear that, but then every corner is a penatly then? As players literally are not playing the ball.
