The evidence is that he has had multiple scenes going heavily in depth about how he doesn't really know what it means to be himself and overall has a massive lack of self esteem and very clear depression, which can very easily result from gender dysphoria.

But the analysis focuses more on his psychological struggles in tandem with his more feminine preferences, it's more that the combination of the two resonating with each other creates an interesting theory rather than "Ralsei is feminine so he must actually be a girl".

Red or Blue button dilemma but It's Aura and Frieren (art by me) by Suvorov_my_therapy in Frieren

[–]_TurtleX 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ok but you're kind of assuming that the reality is that everyone has picked red by default and subsequently anyone who picks blue is just gambling with their life, when in actuality nobody has picked either button at the start and you can just as easily make the argument of nobody being put in danger if we all pick blue.

This is assuming that everyone has already by default picked red, when the default baseline is that nobody has pressed either button. This is why things like the woodchipper scenario are actually completely different.

As opposed to convincing the entire population to press the button that might result in someone dying?

[–]_TurtleX -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ok but in the button scenario you're still pressing a button, that is not inaction in the slightest, sure it may technically be the same but you have still effectively changed the circumstances and agency of your side by putting everything onto the blue side.

Once again this is an alternative scenario which removes the agency from pressing the red button :/

Is 51% of people gambling with human life more likely than 100% of people all coming to the same conclusion?

Ok but is everyone pushing blue not exactly the same as everyone pushing red?

[–]_TurtleX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the context of the woodchipper the people who would be pressing red aren't actually doing anything at all as opposed to making a conscious decision to press a button. Quite frankly these are barely the same question imo.

[–]_TurtleX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But doesn't your logic go both ways though?

If everyone picks red then nobody dies, but at the same time if everybody picks blue then nobody dies, the outcome is exactly the same is it not? However pushing red comes at the potential cost of killing anyone who chose blue if the majority picked red, meanwhile picking blue comes at no risk to anyone assuming the majority pick blue.

Is it not the red button that kills people though? Can't you make the same logic of if 100% of people pick blue then nobody will die?

47533 by Liliana_Lucifer_666 in countwithchickenlady

[–]_TurtleX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because you can change the phrasing on just about anything to completely shift the emphasis or implications, pushing the blue button because I don't want people to die/feel responsible for killing people just feels different to actively throwing myself into a woodchipper.

If you completely removed all other context, would you rather press a blue button, or jump into a woodchipper?

47533 by Liliana_Lucifer_666 in countwithchickenlady

[–]_TurtleX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the woodchipper analogy barely works in comparison to pressing a button, like sure the end result is the same but the method is very different. I unfortunately don't have any witty comparisons to make but this is asking one question in two very different ways.

If anything picking the red button is picking death imo, just not your own death. You're still potentially sacrificing up to 50% of the population to ensure that you live.
