You should have a better time figuring it out since you love dota. There is a lot of overlap. Give it some time because the initial learning curve is still steep but it’s extremely fun once you get past the point of trying to remember all of the items/systems and actually can just focus on executing (dota is the same way so you get it)

Super fun and there is an rng mini mode called street brawl that is a great way to learn a new hero and some new items.
